Terrible Experience – Suspected Theft by Hotel Sta

Terrible Experience – Suspected Theft by Hotel Staff! I stayed at Executive Hotel Pacific on March 7th, 2025, checking out early at 7:00 AM on March 8th. Unfortunately, I accidentally left my phone in the hotel. At 9:30 AM, I used Apple’s tracking system, and it still showed my phone inside the hotel. Concerned, I called the front desk at 10:32 AM to report the issue and ask them to secure my phone. However, the front desk staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and impatient, showing no willingness to help. Their hostile attitude made the conversation tense and frustrating. By 11:00 AM, when I returned to the hotel to retrieve my phone, it had already disappeared—and the tracking system showed it had moved to another address! Given the circumstances and the unhelpful attitude of the front desk staff, I strongly suspect someone from the hotel staff may have stolen it. This is a serious security issue, and the hotel completely failed to ensure guest safety and trust. Instead of helping me, the staff treated me poorly and ignored my request to secure my lost phone. This level of service is unacceptable and alarming. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. If you do, be extra cautious with your belongings—you may not get them back! Hotels should protect their guests, not cause them distress and loss！

For those with limited mobility - yes, there are elevators, but you have to go up or down a flight of stairs to reach them. Also the cafe has stairs. Front door to the tiny lobby is on a steep hill. For anyone needing wifi for work or entertainment, it was dismal. Connected, disconnected, was rated 'fair', not what I'd expect from this kind of hotel. Room was very clean, bed was great. No idea if the people in the library could see into the room lol.

Check in was hard but hotel was great.

The 6 emails I got from Hotel.com and the hotel were confusing and over welding, I am in my 70's. The self-check in was hard to follow, but the employee on duty was great, as was everything else about the hotel. Highly recommend, especially for a younger person.
