Things happen, however, when we checked in, first thing we notice is the toilet won't flush. Apparently, someone had flushed a wash cloth...manager tried to work with us but a broken toilet is pretty hard to not get upset with, We were offered 50% off our next stay. Doesn't help much when we don't go to Santa Cruz often. Truly, they should have found us another hotel room, at their expense. anyways, things happen, not mad, just think more could have been done

I was pleasantly surprised at the service. The front desk Gentleman was fun and engaging as well as welcoming. He made my day when he checked us in at 9 o’clock. It had been a long day of traveling and he was so kind and helpful. I would stay here again.

Never Again Seaside.

No one was able to check us in for at least 20 minutes, and then the manager was somewhat rude/ asked illegal questions. the room had defunct / non-working outlets, and no bedside lamps (as advertised in the images on line-- just overly bright ceiling lights. the refrigerator hummed at a very loud level all night (room 267), never stopping. The water went from too hot to way too cold, no middle ground. There's nothing pretty or comfortable about the rooms or setting. the beds are hard and they are up on weird metal cases that sound like gongs when you touch them (or get up quickly). Just an overall cruddy hotel. Plus-- hotel is located NOWHERE CLOSE to Seaside-- at least a mile to the ocean; false advertising in name but also in photos on website. con job.

Hotel felt very safe and well maintained. Both the hotel and the neighborhood were very quiet. There were several food options within walking distance. My room had a connecting door which let a lot of sound in, but the neighbors went to bed early so it wasn't a problem. I would perhaps request a room without a connecting door if possible. For the price, it was a great deal. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again.

Loved the stay here at Seaside Inn. The owner was very personable and even shared some nice food recommendations for my dietary restrictions. I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
