Very clean, nearly new hotel in a perfect location. I've stayed here twice and it's been really great each stay. Very competent front desk, tastefully decorated rooms, great value.

Amenities were sparse. Took a day and a half to get hot water. Problem with water system. Lobby was not very inviting. Room furnishings were stark and lacked basic table and chairs in a suite. Large open area in bedroom looking like something was missing. Called front desk twice and rang 10 plus times.. no answer. Restaurant tables not clean or kept up. So many things. Not normal for a Marriott hotel.

Room was a good size and quite stylish for the price. we had a comfortable stay there. the room could have a bit more lighting as it felt a bit dim at night. We were a bit lazy when we checked into the hotel and just bought some items from the room next to the reception, there was no pricing. We only later found out that the shop just a couple minutes walk from the hotel was selling them for half the price. It is only a 5 mins walk to the Boardwalk and a further 5 mins to the Pier. Parking was valet parking but I'm not sure why it needed it as we actually drove straight into the carpark and could have just parked it ourselves. Luckily Hotel.com had parking for $17 when the hotel has it at $30, so we paid for it as part of the package. There was some confusion with reception when we checked out, they charged me for parking, I had explained that I had already paid for parking at the booking, they said that they can't see it, which seemed bit odd.they did reverse the charge.
