Great shower
Shower was amazing! FYI this is a motel, there are no phones to front desk. The walls are pretty thin and we heard loud trucks all night driving by. The heater was pretty loud with the fan on, so TV went up and down in volume. There isn't a main telephone line to front desk. There was graffiti on a couple trash which adds to the flavor of Santa Cruz. The key cards locked us out a couple times and quickly reset by front desk. I didn't see an ice machine. The coffee provided for in room coffee maker is in lobby but were old and unusable because they were spilt open after you opened them. The curtains are thin and not black out - but nobody was advertising that they were. We loved the hottest shower ever and water pressure was amazing the linens were all new and the bed was pretty darn comfortable. There must of been a thousand TV channels which was helpful to pass the time. The furniture was new and had phone charging plugs and able to plug in a charger.

We liked how close it was to the boardwalk. The bed was comfortable , but too soft if that makes sense. People were very noisy at night. Next time we come to Santa Cruz, we will stay somewhere else. The room was very clean though and heater and AC worked great.

We were the only ones for 2 nights on our 3 night stay On checking in wr asked for 2 beds instead of 1. Cost $30. After 1 night our t.v. broke so they made us switch room. Took us half hour. Pet fees for 2 dogs 3 nights $130 Clean rooms but could use upgraded. Wouldn't stay again

We also stayed here last January while visiting relatives in Santa Cruz and appreciate that it is dog-friendly. The room was clean and comfortable - if anything maybe too clean? That is, this visit, the cleaning products used left an extremely strong sweet odor. Maybe a less fragrant product would be easier on guests' noses? Will stay again!

This motel is close to beach and boardwalk , shopping and restaurants. Our room was perfect for my wife and I enjoyed a clean room comfy bed, t.v with lots of channels and remodeled bathroom with plenty of hot water.

We stayed in the family suite with the kitchen. It was the perfect size for our family of 5. We really enjoyed the location of the property… it was so close to the beach, Boardwalk and wharf…. Very walkable. The staff is amazing. Everyone was very nice. We definitely would stay here again.

Smelly and dirty. Not suitable for children
We are a family of 6, the youngest being 1. This was absolutely not suitable for a baby that small. Paint chips where on the ground or peeling off the walls. We spent a lot of the time pulling dirt and paint out of his mouth. Honestly though the worst part was the smell. It smelt so bad like cigarettes and paint. 2 of my kids have asthma and if we could have we would have packed up and found another hotel. But we’re afraid of loosing out on our money. We spent a decent amount of money on a 2 room sweet and feel totally ripped off.
