The view was better than the photos! It truly does feel like a resort! The staff was friendly, there were 4 dining options on the property and was within a 15-20 minute drive to “downtown”. The only thing that would’ve it better is if the floors were cleaned as apart of the daily housekeeping (they may have been swept but not mopped- they got so dirty from being at the beach). I would also suggest adding in an option during the reservation to inquire why someone is traveling (maybe Marriot does with direct bookings but not through third party sites). It is an easy way to make someone’s trip memorable if it is to celebrate something.

Nice property and great service from all staff. Restaurants on property offered pretty good options. We didn’t care for the breakfast at the breakfast buffet restaurant. Room was nice but not what I booked. Beach and pool are lovely. Beach current was slightly rough. Overall great place and vibe. Not very walkable as we rented a car. Would return!

This is overall a beautiful hotel. The grounds are beautiful. Its right on the beach. Scenery perfect. However, I was disappointed for 4-5 star hotel in regards to service and cleanliness. My room was not very clean. The shower was dirty and the soap had makeup stains (I assume) on it. When housekeeping came, they did not throw out my trash, merely placed it near where my clothes were. They didn't replenish items in the bathroom. When I checked in, I wasnt given an overview of the property, etc. So these are my complaints regarding this establishment. Despite all of that, I enjoyed my stay and this beautiful country.

The property was beautiful and the views and water are gorgeous. However, you absolutely need water shoes as the beach is very rocky. I would not suggest this to people who are uneasy on their feet as it is very wavy to enter the water. On the other hand, this lends itself to being a great snorkeling spot. I felt that the food and drinks were pretty expensive and everything had a 10% service charge added on. We had a lot of confusion with menus when we were there and what was actually able to be served at certain times. All in all, we enjoyed our stay. The layout was very comfortable and not overly crowded.
