The staff was so kind and eager to assist. The rooms have been updated and are super cute. It’s the absolute best location. My only suggestion if you’re considering staying is I would not stay here if you are sensitive to noise. You can absolutely hear the neighbors through the walls and the train when it passes by.

The most amazingly helpful staff. Very nice and polite staff throughout! The office staff, in particular were very friendly and helpful. They answered all of our questions and gave great advice on restaurants in the area. We LOVED the breakfast, round the clock coffee AND warm cookies! Room was spotless and quiet! Thank you for making our stay such a pleasure!

I had a great stay at the Marina Beach Motel. My kids and I only stayed one night but I would definitely come back again. The rooms are clean and recently updated. All the staff were extremely friendly. We took advantage of the free bike cruisers they offered and rode down the beach path and through the town (State Street, etc). The location was excellent! I highly recommend this motel if you are visiting SB.

The room was perfect for our 2 day stay. The bathroom was gorgeous and spa like. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The afternoon fresh baked warm cookies were a beautiful touch. We love to come to Santa Barbara at least 4 -6 times a year for short getaways. The Marina Beach Motel will now be our Santa Barbara destination Motel. The staff was very welcoming, the room was clean and ready. The room was a bit small for 2 people and 2 queen beds, but we didn't spend much time there. The small fridge, microwave & Keruig was much appreciated and used. The ease of renting (free) bikes to ride along the beach was one of my favorite activities. Steps to Sterns Wharf, restaurants and the Art walk on Sunday allowed us to pack in a few last minute activities. Highly recommended.

From the get go, the gentleman who checked us in was super friendly and professional. Our room was EXCELLENT! Very clean and spacious for a party of six, plus a 60 lbs. dog. Breakfast was good! No hot breakfast, more on pastries. They also allow you to use their bikes at no extra cost. I highly recommend this place!

We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the room was. The rainfall showerhead was wonderful, as well as the jetted, stand-alone tub. Bed was super cozy. One thing that could’ve used a little tlc was the back of the tub. I noticed that it may have been neglected by housekeeping, but everything else was immaculate. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I’d definitely come here again & also recommend this place to everyone I know. Thank you for the memorable experience!

We enjoyed this renovated motel. The room was lovely, really well-equipped and a great shower. The buffet breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The only downside was the very loud HVAC in the room, which disturbed our sleep. It seemed to come on about once every five minutes for about 30 seconds and it really was loud.
