Quick hops to UCSB, anirport, and downtown Santa Barbara (10 mins each, easy drives). Reasonable cost for nicely appointed rooms with unique features (extra sink outside of bathroom, reading lights & headboard lights), love the pool and pond area! Great place to relax.

This is a lovely hotel at a great price, the grounds were beautifully appointed with a pond with ducks swimming, and a beautiful pool & hot tub. The room was spacious and nice. I chose it based on the reviews and the photos of the grounds for myself and a family member I was travelling with and they loved it.

Jeanne who works in the breakfast room is phenomenal! She is a ray of sunshine. Treats everyone with kindness and respect and shares lots of helpful hints. She made breakfast so much better.

The property was overall very nice, however, we did not find the interior of our room to be clean. There were long pieces of hair all around the floors, so much that we were stepping on old eyelashes with glue. We also felt that the tub was not very clean it could have used a good scrubbing, good mopping, and the carpet could have used a better vacuum carpet cleaner. There was somewhat of a stench coming from the carpet as if dogs urinated on the floors.

It was our second time in this hotel. Convenient to UCSB campus proximity. Really nice people are working there! Good breakfast. Rooms are a little outdated but nice and clean. We will probably come back because the location is good, it is simple but clean . And again, the people who work in the hotel are great! Thank you!

From the moment I go to the room, the bathroom had trash inside. The carpet was dirty and unvaccumed. I contacted guest services and told them about the problem. They never came to clean the room after I asked them multiple times. They left two brand new trash bags on the door handle and expected us to take out the mess and clean the room. I took pictures to show the condition of the room and how dirty it was. There were spider webs and dust by the AC. The mirrors were very dirty, I definitely would not recommend. The only good thing was the included breakfast. I regret paying almost $600 for two nights.

Room smelled like mildew and musty, carpet felt so dirty and nasty. They said they upgraded us to a new room and it wasn’t any better. Will not stay here again. Doors slamming at 6 am and it continued for hours. Overall horrible experience for us.

Thought I was in Hawaii with the beautiful grounds

Great property. Our room had been redone and was very clean. Good mattress. The grounds were very well kept. The waterlily pond was gorgeous! Price more reasonable than by the beach area. Free parking!
