We enjoyed the stay and the staff are absolutely amazing. The rooms are clean. The hotel is next to a park and the homeless population are around all the time. They were harmless, but it still didn’t have to best location vibe. It is close walking to a lot of great places. The kids loved the breakfast.

The Avania Inn of Santa Barbara was easy to find. Very nice and accommodating staff both at check in and at breakfast. The jacuzzi was nice and hot! The room was very clean. It was a really nice little getaway.

The place was completely lacking in ambiance. Stark. The "lobby" consisted of two chairs. Our view was the parking lot of the motor inn....not a hotel, more a large motel. Our one night ended up costing around $460. Breakfast was fair. Good selection but "instant" food. Too crowded to find a seat. If there were any grounds or ocean view, we never saw it. The room was clean and the palm tree scene on the wall behind the bed was the best part.

The room was small, bathroom was small but it met our needs. We were in town to attend a wedding and had some time before and after. This hotel was close enough to walk to the beach, pier, & State Street for some look-e-loo window shopping & easy access to restaurants too.
