Beautiful apartment, located right in the center of San Sebastian, (Gros, Seat of Catalonia). Outer, very sunny, Free WI-FI and Air Conditioning, 150m from the Zurriola beach.
Beautiful and completely refurbished apartment in 2013, first stage without lift, with balcony and equipped with free Wi-Fi and air-conditioning system, frontal views to the park of the seat of Catalonia and lateral views to the beach of the Zurriola to 150m. Beach "La Concha" to 500 m.

Composed by a central outer-open and big kitchen, living/dining room, with a sofa. Two double rooms with 1,80m beds. Full bathroom with shower, and an independent WC. With a laundry room.

Car is not necessary, counts in its surroundings with bars, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. Near the Cultural Center Kursaal, ideal to enjoy the beach, to do surf, to enjoy the gastronomy, etc.

Parking: Just in front 10m, Underground Paying Parking "Plaza Catalonia" and at 200m Underground Paying Parking " Txofre " , there are the option to leave the car at a free area and use the Bus to take the car.

Best sleep and eats in our 3 week trip!

I can’t say enough about Joseba and his wife and their lovely apartment! There was so much amazing food within one block, a store and health food store on the same block. The beach was two blocks away and we did several day trips from the apartment. The apartment was very clean and newly updated in a chic style. The air worked very well and for being in a city the apartment was so quiet at night that we had the best sleep of all 3 places we stayed. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable as well. There was so much to do our two teenagers were happy going to the beach, shopping around or trying pinxtos. Old town is so close we walked there several times. Joseba was quick to reply. He gave many good suggestions and helped me to find a long term parking that we could reserve although if you don’t plan on leaving the city skip the car. My daughter and I enjoyed going out for a sweet roll and coffee every morning at the many places within a few blocks.

Absolutely perfect

Amazing spacious place located two blocks from the beach, steps from bars, restaurants, shopping. Extremely clean and well stocked with cookware, beach toys and umbrellas, a washing machine, comfortable beds, modern design and a great vibe. We loved every minute of our stay and did not want to leave. Thank you, Joseba, for the wonderful food recommendations and for taking such great care of your guests.

Amazing location and apartment

The Gros neighborhood is a great location. Walkable to the old town for a fun night out, but quiet for getting some rest with our five year old. The apartment is two blocks from the beach, and there were beach toys, blankets and umbrellas in the apartment to use on the beach. Very helpful with a kiddo. Joseba is an incredibly kind and wonderful host. He gave us a great list of places to check out with kids, and also some of his favorite neighborhood places for pintxos. There is a playground right next door, and we were able to easily do laundry in the apartment. We had a great stay and hope to be back soon

No need to look any further, this is the best spot!

We loved this perfect little spot! We were two adults and two 12 year olds and this was a perfect fit. Joseba was the best host and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He was easy to communicate with and made us feel welcome. We took the bus in from Bilbao and it was only a ten min walk from the bus station. Perfectly located to walk everywhere. Also a plus, we found Es cafe on our block which had the most amazing breakfast. Highly recommend this spot!

Wonderful place in a beautiful city

My family and I visit San Sebastián often and this is our favorite apartment of all we have seen. The location is lively with great restaurants and activities nearby, so close to the beach, and an easy walk to other, more touristy neighborhoods. My kids loved the playgrounds across the street and the nearby Txofre Plaza. The apartment itself is sunny, nicely renovated, and well-appointed. The host is lovely and attentive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again.

Conveniently located apartment near beach in Gros

Jabier was great at communicating prior to check-in and was very attentive during stay. Apartment is very conveniently located in the Gros neighborhood just two blocks from the beach which is what we wanted for close access to Zurriola. Apartment is clean and simple. A/C works great. Overlooks busy square but windows kept the outside noise out. We had a few nights where we could hear the upstairs neighbor walking back and forth late at night on the weekends but that comes with the territory being an apartment in a city in Spain. We were overall satisfied with our stay.

Great little apartment in a good area

We really enjoyed our stay in Joseba’s apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay in San Sebastián. The washing machine and drying area was a bonus. The kitchen is well equipped but we only really used the kettle as we ate out every day. Joseba’s recommendations for eating places were spot on. The bathroom is small but there’s lots of hot water and a powerful shower. The second toilet is a bonus. The aircon worked great. The area is lively with small children playing in the park area during the day, which was lovely. At night it was quiet, with the double glazed windows shutting out any potential noise. Everywhere was easily reachable on foot. All 3 beaches are different but lovely - lots of Spanish families 😀. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Joseba’s apartment and the Gros area when we next visit San Sebastián.

Nice stay in San Sebastián

Very pleasant apartment in a great neighbourhood. Gros is a cool area of the town with a surfer beach a minute away - a fun beach for non surfers as well. A lot of great bakeries, cafés, restaurants… a short and pleasant walk to the old town and La Concha beach. The apartment had everything we needed, excellent kitchen, pleasant atmosphere and a nice view on the square and church. The host was great - very helpful, friendly and responsive. We felt very secure and had a lovely time.

Comfortable and close to everything

The apartment is close to everything. It is a short walk to many restaurants and the beach. It is about 10 minutes to the old town. It was very comfortable with plenty of room for 3 people. The kitchen has everything to cook meals. Internet is fast and there is a/c in every room. There is a washing machine as well. There is paid parking across the street that is (I believe) €28.50 / day. If you download the Telepark app you can reserve a spot starting at €25 / day and it goes down if you reserve multiple days. Parking on the street is not really an option since you can only pay 90 minutes at a time. There is some street noise during the morning and day (you are in a city) and there were lots of kids playing across the street. The windows, if they are closed, block most of the noise though.

Great stylish Flat in a perfect location

From the moment we were greeted by our host and shown around, we knew we had booked the perfect flat for our extended stay. This modern space with beautiful historic beams in the center for structure but also aesthetic warmth made this place absolutely perfect for us. The rooms were so efficient with built in storage in each bedroom. The balconies to the public square in the neighborhood of Gros made for new interest each day, whether it was a puppet show for the children or a farmers market for our local grocery needs. To be able to open the door and see the park in front of you or the ocean down the street to the right was quite a bonus. The apartment beds were also quite comfortable which is so important to us. So much so that I was wanting to know where the pillows were from so we could buy one for home. Great cafes nearby, excellent transportation available within a few steps (but you can walk most places), and an easy walk to the beach.

Great location, great apartment

A very clean and well appointed apartment in walking distance to everything. Joseba was helpful to provide information on where to shop and eat around the area and checked in to confirm everything was OK during our stay. Would recommend to stay here.

Fantastic week away in San Sebastian

We had a wonderful time in San Sebastian and couldn't of picked a better place to stay. It's location is great and you can see the beach from the balcony. If you want to cook the apartment is equipped of every cooking facilities you would need. The apartment is clean, fresh and modern will definitely recommend it to friends. The host Joseba is extremely friendly and gives great advice on restaurants etc.

Kid Friendly Apartment

We loved our stay at this sweet apartment. It had everything we needed to feel well set up with our family. We were traveling with our three year old daughter, and found the apartment safe, clean, with all the amenities we needed. Two bedrooms with large beds allowed us to spread out. The apartment had a high chair, a pack and play, and beach supplies. There was laundry, a great kitchen, and most importantly, a playground across the street. Every morning we could watch the kids playing out the window as we had breakfast, and then run down to join them. Our host was the nicest person, and met us personally to explain the house and answer any questions. He also had a wonderful book with recommendations for kids activities, restaurants and more. It was a wonderful home base for us, and we would definitely stay again!
