Quiet, safe, good location, can walk to beach, everything works fine. Bonus points for nice staff, cleanliness, and especially PRICE!. We needed a place to stay heading up North. Originally booked at a similar place in San Luis Obispo but it was $377...I looked further and found this place for only $106. So this was a no brainer. Plus if you want SLO is a close drive anyway so staying here is a money saver. Great place

As a solo traveler, I enjoyed the weekend stay at Ocean Palms Motel! The room had AC and everything I needed to be comfortable. Chill surfer vibe room and very clean! Close to everything and a beautiful place to walk around and explore. Will definitely stay there again! Office attendant Laura was so kind, friendly, professional, and welcoming!!! I appreciated the list of suggested restaurants in the area that she provided. Looking forward to staying here again soon!

Unfortunately me and my family stumbled across the ocean palms hotel in hopes that we could enjoy our night in. The hardest part was the check in situation. This is the first of many stays in the 805 where an early check in just was not going to happen. The women at the front desk seemed bothered about me having my support animal and asking me questions about what type of support animal he is and tried to charge me a fee when it says specifically states that the hotel don’t charge for a pet fee. The room looked like it hadn’t been wiped down with huge footprints on the door and wall. The refrigerator and microwave was also dirty. The shower had hair in it and was out of soap completely. The ice maker was also out of service and no accommodations were provided. You are unable to call the front desk because the women doesn’t answer. This hotel ruined our trip.

I really like this the place. Clean is an understatement. Staff is super friendly. Nice covered seating area, with a fire pit. Convenient to excellent restaurants, and a local market just up the street. Cant go wrong. We've stayed two years in row, and am already planning a third.

Coastal Retreat

Motel is conveniently located. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants snd bars. Rooms are clean and service is excellent. Nothing fancy but clean affordable and practical. I’ve stayed here multiple times and plan on it the next time I go to Pismo.

Foxs Getaway

We had a great stay the hotel was close to restaurants, bars, and of course the beach. Parking was safe and plenty of room. The hotel room was nice, updated and very clean. The outside lounge area we used was very cool to hang out and even had outlets for your phone and a nice fire ring. We will stay again!!

Good value close to beach

It’s a pretty efficient little room with hard floors Fridge and microwave, and Keurig coffee maker. The plastic end tables are really small and a little too far from the bed so that could use improvement. I love the covered area across the parking lot with several comfortable chairs and tables and heated pit.

Comfortable, clean, convenient hotel

Comfortable bed. Clean room. Close to everything. It was conveniently located to the beach & town. We parked our car & walked where we needed to go the whole weekend… it’s just a few blocks to the beach. It was quiet for our stay. There isn’t a swimming pool but we’re there for the beach so not a problem for us. No breakfast but coffee is available to make in your room, again not a problem for us, we enjoy getting our own breakfast/coffee when we come to Pismo. It’s a well kept hotel. They don’t service the room during your stay but was very responsive to our requests for more towels & garbage removal. They kept in touch with us via text & we liked this unintrusive approach. Staff was friendly & helpful!
