Andrew helped us secure an additional room last minute when our daughter's hotel fell through. He went above and beyond to ensure our need were met. Star was friendly and hospitable. She remembered us the next day and asked about our excursion to the beach. The staff made the stay worthwhile. The pool was nice.The rooms were clean and comfortable.

We stayed at La Hacienda for a couple of days while we visited Calibunga Water Park and the family loved it. It was our second visit to San Jose and by far this hotel was our place of choice. The place was quiet, clean and felt much safer than other hotels in the San Jose area. The parking lot and all of its trees provided great shade for vehicles as well as visitors. Not to mention the designated smoking area away from the hotel entrance that still provided sitting under the shade of the trees for those who partake. The only one downside that we encountered was that we had to go all the way around the property and use the main entrance again if we used the pool or jacuzzi.
