It’s apparent that they used all of the money on the lobby instead of the rooms. The carpets are old and stained. Housekeeping was daily and tidied but not with attention to detail (once the pillows were left undone on the bed, another time the washcloths weren’t removed). Our room was directly behind the elevators so we heard them going up and down all night long. Some of the front desk staff were nice and helpful, others not so much. Honestly this makes me second guess ever staying at a DoubleTree again.

Probably my biggest issue was the staffing at the front desk. It seemed like there were often guests waiting in line to check in, check out, or purchase something from the little market next to the front desk. I waited 15 minutes to buy 2 bottles of water on one day, and 10 minutes the next. They either need a different process or more staff. Facility is nice...didn't use the pool but it looked okay. Nice seating area out front (waiting for Lyfts/Ubers). It's convenient if you're visiting a student at SDSU, which is why we stayed here.

Place is old and needs to be remodeled. Motel 7 vibes. Not Terrible. Just a lil ghetto. Parking sucks. U pay and it’s Very limited. Can’t park in garage if you drive truck. I’ve stayed in better Super 8s for half the price.

Very old and outdated Doubletree, the worst I've ever stayed in. Old uncomfortable mattresses, filthy parking garage with scary acting elevator and lacking good maintenance in the rooms. The first room that I stayed in (519) had at least a 2" open gap under the front door before I requested to be move. I see why the property has a 3.5 rating and I will never stay there again. It was far below what I consider to be Hilton and Doubletree standards. The staff however was friendly and accommodating!

Room is a bit dated, but clean. Carpet needs to be replaced. Bed was super comfortable. A/C was quiet and kept the room cool. The hallway was very warm. Not very accommodating for vehicles over 6’6” clearance. Parking was scarce and difficult to navigate in a van. I didn’t get a cookie, but the front desk staff were very friendly.

A/C was not working properly, Parking fee was a surprise, loud next to the freeway. All of these things not worth 200 dollars. Check in at 4:00 is kinda late too.

Absolutely filthy. Bugs in the room. We had a family emergency that had us cut our stay short and they were unable to assist us in any form of reimbursement. We stayed for 10 minutes.. absolutely horrible
