Front desk was VERY busy for check-in, but it was staffed well with personable and knowledgeable agents who worked though the line quickly. Kudos to them! The room was as I expected with a beautiful bay view. The room had a balcony with two chairs and a table, but they were inaccessible (assumed for safety reasons). The location of this hotel was the stand-out for me. Few places more convenient to bus routes, streetcar, and cruise terminal. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the Wyndham Vacation people in the hotel lobby who approached us two seconds after check-in. As per usual with timeshare salespeople, they were smiley, but pushy and unwilling to take no for an answer. I wanted to be polite - I know they are doing their job - but I ended up walking away mid-sentence. That was not a great start to this hotel stay.

The tv wasn’t working. They don’t provide drinking water. The bottle of water in the room is 10$. I strongly don’t recommend it. The view is the only felicitous thing but still noisy as it’s close to the airport and the jet sounds are noisy when you set on the balcony.

I wasn't offered free breakfast from the hotel. They don't have sharps containers which is unsafe. I have charges on my card that I shouldn't have. I have $80 US charged to my card and when I checked out i actually asked and was told I didn't owe anything.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the cruise ship port. The hotel is showing its age (wrinkled carpet, old bathroom fixtures, stains on duvet). . Some balconies are not accessible (apparently for child safety reasons, but wecwere not told this in advance).

This was my first time staying at the Wyndham Bayside and I was super excited, pulling up outside the hotel from the shuttle pickup at the airport was very beautiful. The check-in process was okay but be aware of the resort daily fees that are kind of hidden when you're booking through third party apps or sites, took me be surprise and are reserved upfront fees. The first night we stayed we were tired from traveling and from work prior so we decided to get something to eat and stay around the hotel. Our room was in the same building as check-in facing City View. We opened our balcony doors and the breeze felt nice but throughout the night and the day all we heard was train noises an ambulances all day all night. We also have some plumbing issues so they moved us to another building further away from the reception and put us on a fourth floor facing the ocean. That view was beautiful however because of how low we were in the building we were right behind a restaurant, when we open up our balcony all we smelled was the trash and it was not pleasant. Also, if you sit out on the balcony you just see the roof of the buildings in front and they were all dirty also not a Pleasant View. However we did not complain the second time as we didn't want to be those type of guests that move from room to room so we just continue to enjoy our trip outside of the hotel. The pool was beautiful and fun and the staff was friendly. 3 Stars.
