Enid at the front desk was not very welcoming or friendly: she was reluctant to receive cash for purchases and transactions and had difficulty correctly calculating the amount of change to return even with the calculator she pulled out of the drawer; when informed of the complimentary water having gone empty, she just looked over, did not get up from her seat, and made no comment or motion to assist. When we asked if we could get it refilled she said nothing and the other young lady said she would fill it. It was over 80 degrees outside and my elderly parents were hot having just come in front being outdoors and would have greatly benefited from a refreshing drink, especially since my mom had very much enjoyed it earlier. Enid’s disposition was very off-setting and disappointing for Marriott’s services that we are so familiar and accustomed to every time we choose Marriott and its chain.
Her service makes us reconsider returning to this particular location despite its close proximity to the freeway and many places to visit.
