This is one of the fancier hotels ive stayed at in a while. The loby was gorgeous as well as the very clean and open room. We had an issue shortly after arriving but the front office and maintenance were very quick and polite in making sure to solve it. Overall it was an amazing experience

The stay was overall really comfortable and nice. Just recommend that housekeeping restock what they need to and that the front desk maintain respect and courtesy to the guests. Some of them were really nice, but we did have one that was rude.

I had difficulties with a vehicle rental on the property that really causes me to waste about a day and a half of my trip. The front desk staff, Rudy Blunt, Madison Sorokin and two of the building engineers, Rey De Veas and Ronald Viguilla. were so helpful l couldn’t as thank you enough. I will recommend this property to others and will definitely stay here when I return to San Antonio. And to the Marriott front offices those in leadership, you have a wonderful staff. Thank you!

Everything was nice. What didn’t like was the left side of the bed was slumped and center was higher. Probably a heavy set person(s) slept on it. Maybe needs flip over mattress. However, I did sleep well.

Dated and weathered, but the price is right...

Not what you would normally expect for a full service Marriott. It has certainly seen better days. However, the price reflected the same, as its a great value. Free parking, restaurant and bar on-site, comfortable beds/pillows and the AC cranked. Would stay again.

Upon arrival at the Marriott, I was informed that my reserved room had been given to another guest. marriott offered a complimentary room at the Country Yard hotel as an alternative. However, this location was a noticeable downgrade from the Marriott. The process of checking in at the Marriott and being turndown follow by checking into the Country Yard, took over an hour in total. Having traveled from Dallas, Texas, we were finally able to access our room at 4:00 AM. The cause of the initial room unavailability at the Marriott is unclear.

Our check in was horrible, (the girl a redhead) didn’t even greet us. Don’t get me wrong she wasn’t rude. But she wasn’t what we expected. Didn’t greet us, didn’t talk to us about the bar or breakfast or where anything is located. She looked overwhelmed. The property is older but it’s ok for the price. Nice bar and the pool was clean and a man was walking around cleaning. He was nice doing a great job maintaining the pool. The room wasn’t what we expected but it was ok. The ac didn’t work much but it was ok. They have fresh water which was a plus. Overall for the price ok but wouldn’t stay again.
