Not a bad deal for the price.

Overall, it was a nice hotel for a decent price. The service at the front desk? Not so much. I booked a king size room, intentionally for my own comfort. He gave me a double room, without saying a word about the change. I had to come back downstairs and remind him that I booked a king size room and that’s what I paid for and that’s what I expected. He tried to tell me that he gave me the double room at no additional charge, to which I replied “ again I paid for a king size room”. He initially tried to tell me that they were sold out. I guess the look on my face incentivized him, because suddenly he got up from the couch (YES the couch!) and went to check availability. Miraculously there was a king size room. The room was clean, but they definitely need to invest in either better washing machines or bleach, because the pillowcases and the towels were obviously stained.

I woke up at 2am noticing there was bite marks on my arm. Wondering what it was I checked the bed and found a bedbug. I immediately notified staff, they said they were full and couldn’t send me to another room. I trapped the bedbug in a plastic cup, looked behind the bed and didnt see anymore so I tried to go back to sleep. At 5am I wokeup uncomfortable with more bite marks on my body only to find another bed bug on my pillow. I notified the staff and they finally gave me another room to sleep in. They refused to refund me and stated they would compensate by giving me a free one night stay at their specific Comfort Inn location. I frantically declined because I will not be rooming at THIS location again. The reason for my stay at this location was ultimately due to the low price, I should’ve thought twice before going the cheapest route.

Out of order

Very disappointed because I specifically asked for a hotel with a hot tub. Well this particular hotel said it has a hot tub as well as a fitness center. However , everything from the restrooms in the lobby, the hot tub ,pool, the fitness center, and even the ice machine had big OUT OF ORDER sign across them. The front desk just repeatedly said sorry everything is out of order. Very sad and disappointed. Am I to believe that over half of the amenities offered were out of order? I walked in the pool area and the water was crystal clear, as well as the hot tub. But apparently we could not use them because they are out of order?

A good area in general. Have a Walmart next door ihop, bill millers, Panda Express dominoes, Mexican restaurant with bar and grill. A the rooms are comfortable.
