Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, my experience was not what I expected. One of the main issues was the lack of clear communication regarding ongoing renovations. At no point during the booking process or prior to check-in was I informed that the property was undergoing significant construction.
Upon arrival, I was surprised to find common areas closed off, and limited access to advertised amenities like the fitness center and lounge, and bar. While I understand that renovations are sometimes necessary, guests deserve to know in advance so they can make an informed decision — especially when paying full price.
Had I been made aware, I may have chosen different accommodations or adjusted my expectations. Transparency is key in hospitality, and unfortunately, that was lacking here. I hope the hotel will improve its communication moving forward, as this really impacted the quality of my stay.
