Besides the toilet running constantly and the absence of an electrical outlet in the bathroom, it was a nice hotel. Clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the canal. Enjoyed a cocktail on the top floor bar area. Surprised to find a rough looking neighborhood within a block of the canal.

The shuttle to and from airport was well explained, reliable and prompt. The hotel was in a nice area along the marina/waterway and surrounded by many restaurants. The hotel room was very clean and modern. The hotel grounds were lovely. Pool was not heated and the wind made the rooftop temperature uncomfortably cold. Unfortunately the rooftop bar started to play extremely loud music around 5:00 pm on the Sunday evening. It was so loud our room on the 3rd floor vibrated from the bass. We thought there was a live music event somewhere in the vicinity it was that loud, but when we went to investigate realized it was coming from the hotel rooftop bar. We were told it would stop around 11:00 pm, but in fact it stopped at 9:00 pm. Thank goodness.

At first I thought I'd made a mistake! The hotel doesn't present as well as it should, but once inside, you'll find a very clean and safe place to spend a night or two. The hotel could do better tho... There are not many creature comforts in the room. A kettle or coffee maker would be nice. It seems a little like they are nickle and diming you for every 'extra' you may want. Coffee? Extra. Breakfast? Extra. Weigh your bags in the lobby? Extra. These are all relatively inexpensive things, and should be included the basic rate. The hotel shuttle to the airport was also extra. They charge you per person, per trip.
