I saw a lot of negative reviews about this place, and clearly some people had problems. I ve stayed in plenty of places around this airport and i can tell you if you get this place at a good price then go for it. The shuttle arrives where and when it says it will. The hotel is in a decent area, plenty of good eats around and the staff are formal and proffessional ( lets face it you're not there to make friendships ). It was clean and safe.

It was good. The room comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. There was a fire drill that receptionnfailed to warn me about. I left the room running down the fire exit alone, only to see the final gate closed downstairs. The breakfast looked very poor of options. The evening restaurant food was delicious.

Pros: It is a beautiful location right by the sea and the sunrise and sets were gorgeous! Walkable to the piers and across the river to a nice beach. The lobby is clean and beautiful and there is a reasonably priced shuttle to the airport. They also let us hang out in the lobby after check out before our flight home as there was several hours difference. Cons: Our room was sub par /mediocre. Definitely not a 4 star hotel!! Broken lamp next to the bed, crooked pictures, scuffed up walls, dirty stained toilet. Didn’t have a kettle or mini coffee maker in the room which all other places we’ve stayed at in an Italy did. There was only 2 full sized bath towels for the 3 of us and when I asked for another full sized towel, they brought up 2 small hand towels instead. When I questioned that I was told snottily by the young lady “that’s why I brought 2 towels” We still had a nice evening and I was able to get cups of hot water for our tea from the bar downstairs but all in all, I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

Shuttle on demand only no schedule. It is not free like in most places. Scheduled shuttle pick up at 7:30 I arrived at front desk at 7:28 the shuttle had left which almost made me miss my flight as I had to wait another 1/2 hour for the next one. The front desk excuse was that since there had been a shift between the night time clerk with whom I had made the reservation and the incoming day shift clerk he had not seen the reservation.

The hotel is dated, but that's not the main issue. We were informed that we need to take a shuttle to the airport, and it will be 7 euro per person. For 8 people it will be 56 euro only a 10 mins ride. Turns out there is a public shuttle bus only 1 euro per person at the corner of the block, only 7 minutes walk. Staff did not inform us that, I think that's a shame.

Recommend

Check in was great. Found open soap in room. Front desk replaced. They use the small shampoo/lotion, not the large refillable ones. Check out was great. Shuttle was great from the hotel to the airport.
