Flights To Rome

Has anyone ever told you why not to visit Rome? No, because reasons not to visit Rome don’t exist. Whether you want to gorge on pasta, art or architecture, la dolce vita is all about doing it your way. Bust out your Italian phrasebook (“Mi scusi! Grazie!” isn’t going to cut it) and practice on the plane. You’ll soon land in the “Eternal City”.

Getting Around Rome

In Europe, trains rule, and Rome is no different. When Wotif’s flights to Rome land at Fiumicino International Airport (FCO), the Express Train will get you to downtown’s Stazione Termini in about 30 minutes. From there, the two Metro lines are easy to figure out, and buses can take you anywhere the Metro doesn’t go.

When You Land…

If you’ve got a coffee addiction, you’ve come to the right place. Those on morning Rome flights can just pop into a “bar” (aka coffee shop) for an espresso (or six). In the afternoon, wander the gardens of Villa Borghese and the famous artworks of its gallery. If you get in after the sun sets, you’ll really feel like “all the world’s a stage” when you see Rome at night—and you’ll be the star atop one of the city’s many sky-high bars.

Live Like a Local

You’ve already gotten local vibes with those six espressos, but if you want to continue hanging with the residents, Wotif’s Rome hotels in the Trastevere neighbourhood are the place to be. Sip wine on the steps of the fountain in Piazza di Santa Maria to gear up for the nightlife, then head north to the River Tiber waterfront to dance the night away.

Admit it: You were going to book cheap flights to Rome before you even started reading this. Wotif has the best deals around, and we’ll save you even more cash when you book your airfares and accommodation together with our Rome holiday packages. Get searching, and get ready to live the good life.

Very close to metro, walking distance to all old city Rome attractions. Friendly staff and clean and modern facilities. Only gripe was the patchy WiFi.
