Porto Romano was a lovely place to relax and recuperate after a long Mediterranean cruise. We arrived early and were able to access our room and enjoy the amenities on the property. Dining by the Tiber River and watching the boats at the end of the day was a real treat! My favorite part of our stay was sitting by the pool and watching all the beautiful birds in the palm trees. Our room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I chose Porto Romano for its close proximity to the airport but still having the relaxing feel of a resort. We were not disappointed!

If you want a quiet serene place to escape, this is it! The room was wonderful, the bed so comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was adequate. Nothing special, the usual boiled egg, scrambled eggs, pastries, cold cuts, cheese and whole fruit. If you have allergies, they are listed for every item on the buffet. The pool looked so inviting but not available for us as it was early May and cold!!!
