Our stay was to avoid loss of electricity at home for a snow storm with possibility of ice. With no generator, we thought we should stay at a hotel for a few days. Our room had a faulty thermostat, which left us mostly cold. The heat would come on for a short while and go off. The second day we decided to use the restaurant for our evening meal. Not only was our room not warm, but halls were ice cold. Downstairs wasn't much better. The restaurant was ice cold. We ordered our food around 6:00 PM. There were linemen staying there waiting for the storm. A lot of them were eating there also. As we were waiting for our food, we noticed alot of them came in after us and were getting their food before we were. It was about 8:00 PM by the time we got our food. 2 hours, who has to wait that long at a restaurant to get food. We decided that they were catering to the linemen, in fact one lineman told us that it wasn't right. We were frozen about that time so we took to go so we could eat in our room, which was somewhat warmer. In the middle of the night about 5:00 AM we decided to get our things together and go home as the temperature in our room had gone down to 68 degrees. The ice storm didn't materialize, so decided that was the best option. I can honestly say this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had in our 60 years. All I can say is I would never choose this hotel or would never recommend it to anyone.
