Convenient location to Mankin Mansion, where we attended a wedding. Hotel staff were friendly and the Front Desk person kindly accommodated our request for an early check-in. Marriott properties have consistently provided great customer service.

The staff were super helpful and friendly; especially Jerome Forehand. He made a great suggestion regarding returning our rental car. he said to return the rental car the night before our flight(6:00 AM). he said that they would pick us up at the airport and take us to the airport which was 4:00 AM. his suggestion saves us the hassle of returning the car in the morning. Just an overall great experience; the room and the breakfast. Keep up your good work.

The property was in the perfect location for an early morning flight out of Richmond. The shuttle runs to accommodate most flights, and the shuttle drivers at night (Todd?) and in the early morning (woman who organizes breakfasts) were super friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and well designed, and it was quiet.

Hotel parking under construction, hotel entrance smells like cigarette, same for elevators, hotel room AC smells musty, microwave smells like it was never cleaned. Requested expedia for refund and hotel declined. Manager is rude and not accommodating after we asked her to smell the room and microwave. Not sure how this hotel receive a 9star rating, which is the only reason why we booked it.

The suite was the best one we've had in a long time! Room was very clean and comfortable. Pool was also great. Breakfast was pretty standard. What made this stay excellent was the customer service. Everyone from the front desk to the cleaners and breakfast staff were so pleasant, engaging, and helpful. Definitely will stay again when we are in the area!
