Awesome stayed for three nights. The room is spacious . The shower head water pressure is too low. The car park is limited . Even though they have a free parking behind the hotel, but always FULL! Anyway, we had enjoyed our stay in Midgardur by Center Hotels.

Clean room with lean facilities. Friendly helpful staff. Free access to Geo-thermal hot spa which was within the hotel, one could order drinks from there easily as well! Next to the main shopping street and walking distance to important places to visit in Reykjavik!!

What a fantastic place to stay! Close to multiple restaurants and shops. The spa is really good. Clean and well taken care of. The front desk is really helpful and they always have 2 or 3 representatives. It’s a no brainer to stay here

So many wonderful things The property was stylish with great features, and close to shopping, restaurants, and an easy walk to many local attractions. Everything was immaculately clean and well-maintained and oh the food! The breakfast buffet was lavish, with both hot and cold options, with plenty of breads, skyr, and vegetarian choices. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, and the service was quick, friendly and impeccable. Both my Arctic Char and my companion's mushrom risotto were imaginatively flavored, with fresh spices and vegetables. A lot of the locals were eating there, which is a good sign. Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. Crisp linens and complimentary robes and slippers. Those came in handy in the spa, with your choice of an indoor or outdoor hot tub. (I wasn't brave enough to try the outdoor hot tub, as it was a bit chilly.) We each had a massage, with great massage therapists. I was a pool of melted butter afterwards. However, all of the above pales in comparision to the quality staff. They were, to a person, friendly, helpful, competent, and made this stay an ourstanding one. A special callout to Florri behin the front desk, who helped us out with information confirmed our activity pickups, and so many other small things. She really enhanced our experience there.

Absolutely loved my stay here, loved how walkable the city is. The receptionist recommended wonderful places to go to as well. Check out the restaurant in the hotel as well! So so good, while you’re at it also check out Grazie near the hotel!
