Friendly staff and nice hotel

Nice standard comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff in downtown with parking available (although I got there early and got the best spot, I don't know if you are late and have to park in the garage if it's tight). I would stay here again.

Location was good. Free parking was rarely available. Breakfast was average, Kea property in Selfoss was excellent, so we were disappointed. Everything is painted gray and black and very dark. Not appealing at all and very run down. Bathroom was clean but very small. Shower has no door and too small for that. Water everywhere. Hotel needs a face lift and new furniture etc.

Bare Bones not as good as hotels.com reviewed it to me. One towel one hand towel no washcloth no amenities kind of had an army barracks feel to it. Breakfast was decent staff was friendly with the hotel was nothing to get excited about. I'd give it three stars at most

It’s a bit more but definitely worth it. It’s centrally located. The property is well maintained and very clean. They give you a nice complementary breakfast in the morning. The best part was the staff. We had a lot of questions and needed suggestions and they were great. Thanks for an awesome stay.
