The hotel was great. The rooms are small, but very clean and usable. Our bathroom did have a very musty smell the whole time we were there. The breakfast is amazing and you can walk from there to most of the main areas in Reykjavík.

This hotel is very nice and clean, rooms are large and comfortable. There are lots of dining options close by as well as it is very close to the main shopping street and local attractions. Bus route is right there. Staff very friendly, breakfast included which was a plus. Would stay here again.

This hotel is small but cosy. Great breakfast included, enjoyed a ‘happy hour’ drink in the lobby bar (extra) and some casual chats with other guests. They also have a lovely patio. Close to harbour.

The Storm hotel is a lovely quiet, clean and comfortable hotel. Great breakfast! As with many hotels in Reykjavik, you are unable to control the temperature in your room; this our sleeps were a little on the warm side.

Excellent hotel. Everything thoughtfully done, including leaving coffee and croissant out for guests who had to leave before breakfast started. The physical design was also impressive, both in terms of aesthetics and functionality. Friendly people at the desk and in the restaurant, nice breakfast with several options. Was initially concerned it would be too far from the center of Reykjavik but we found a great one — Reykjavik Kitchen — nearby.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room and hotel very clean, and the breakfast had an excellent and extensive selection of items to choose from.

Property was located centrally people were very courteous and my husband and I had a very pleasant stay at this location. We had our own car and were able to park it in the parking lot some of the days. The European breakfast was wonderful every morning. There are lots of buses that stop outside and one can take them to several locations.

Of the four hotels I stayed at while in Iceland, I liked this the best. The other Kea hotel I stayed at in Reykjavik had only a tiny window up high that opened out for ventilation and every time I returned to the room it smelled stuffy. The window at the Storm opened out at the sill, so I could store water bottles there without fear of them falling out and they would stay cold with the window open. The room was larger than others, and the staff were the most accommodating. The only thing I'd wish for that they did not have was a hot breakfast option such as eggs and bacon as I found at a hotel along the South coast. The Storm is conveniently located near Kronan's grocery, and there's a bus stop (#12} right across the street from the main entrance.

There's only about 6 parking spaces for a large hotel. Be prepared to walk a distance and pay for parking. The room was extremely small and cramped. It was clean
