Very friendly staff and nice hotel, spa is good and quiet, make sure to reserve the spot ahead. Construction nearby but we are ok with that, parked at the bus stop parking, still walkable and no complaints :)

This is a great hotel located just a block from the bus stop. It was very convenient for transportation purposes. You can actually walk to the downtown area which took about 15 minutes. The only downside is that you can control the temperature in the room like most hotels. I was ok and did t ask,but no thermostat

Amazing staff. Every person here works countless hours wearing a big smile on their faces. I have seen each one of them going over and above their regular duties just to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as it could be. It felt like they had just one rule book, which is to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. A special shoutout to Jason who went out of his way to ensure we would get hot food for dinner. On our last day we had to checkout before the restaurants opened, and they made arrangements for a complimentary breakfast—that was the most caring gesture of true hospitality. Thank you to the entire team at Grandi for making our trip so memorable. You guys are great at winning hearts and guests for a lifetime. When I visit Iceland again, it will always be Grandi for me.

There was a wonderful bakery/cafe on property—great place to get breakfast. The baristas were fast and the food was terrific. The rooms were a little hot. There is a nice but pricey brasserie on site. The spa was a wonderful feature—2 hot tubs, a sauna, a relaxation room (order drink service with your phone), massages. We were able to do a bag drop until we could check in (there’s luggage lockers) and the 24/7 reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was great for exploring the marina and very close to the whale watch museum, northern lights exhibit, the lava show and flyover Iceland. Some fun eateries in that area too. Had a great time here.

Aussie the helped us on how to get to places by bus and some recommendations in Reykjavik . Jokull the Manager was more the accommodating to make us feel like a valued costumer. He surely did make us feel valued. The dinner was amazing and our service from Merka was outstanding, he truly an asset to your team. Also a shout out to the blonde lady on the front desk you too were friendly and great at your job. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this hotel.

I would rate it more than 5 stars because of the staff. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. I want to particularly complement Ewa at the reception desk on 3/8/2025. I originally reserved a transfer to KEF airport at 1pm with a transfer bus service company. I had to leave early that day. The bus transfer company refused to change my transfer to an earlier pick up which I understood. After Ewa found out my problem, she volunteered to contact the bus company on my behalf, and was able to change it for me. Many thanks to Ewa!! That goes to show excellent customer service at the very best. Kudos to Ewa and Grandi By Center Hotels!

Beautiful hotel and rooms. The staff were always so happy and friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a good selection and I highly recommend the spa after a day in the cold. Everything needed is close by and well within walking distance. Would definitely go back.

The hotel itself was very nice, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable; the water pressure was perfect. The lighting at the sink area could have been brighter for those wishing to apply makeup, but it was sufficient for my needs. Breakfast buffet was good, though I would have liked a larger selection of gluten free foods - there was a bread, and there was no separation from the other breads. The spa was very nice. I wish I'd used it more, but I was out and about too much to be able to schedule time. My one complaint is: for the VIP drinks benefit, please allow a gluten-free beer option. Overall a great stay and I would stay again.

Very nice hotel in an up and coming area of Reykjavik. Close to the Bus Stop 15 where the Flybus shuttle will drop one. There is some construction going on so some rooms may get noisy during the day. We were lucky to get a different room despite an early check in. The staff were friendly in all areas including breakfast and bar area. The room and bathroom are comparable to many options in Iceland and not too cramped. The breakfast options are really good and they will even offer early options if you need to depart for a tour early. i would consider staying here again.
