The building is definitely showing some wear and tear. The rooms, however, are quite spacious, the beds are comfortable, and there is plenty of hot water. The hotel's close proximity to Duke Hospital was a definite plus for us. Additionally, the hotel's close proximity to I-85 and other Durham freeways made it easy to quickly be at any of many restaurants, grocery stores and shopping malls.

This hotel is my “go to” whenever I have to stay in Durham. It has everything I’m looking for in a hotel. It’s clean The rooms are spacious. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is friendly.
