This was a large property but seemed like 6 small resorts. I found the booking of the à la carte restaurants a little onerous and that you had to book online and if you didn't do it at around 8:00 you were not insured a spot. For the most part the stuff was very nice there was a couple of issues around the placing of towels on lounge chairs. Most people did it there was one incident where the staff was instructed to remove the towels and personal property even though they said they did not touch personal property personal property was thrown on the ground and we had to search for it. Other than that I enjoyed my stay. The front desk ladies were amazing, the rooms were very clean. I like the fact that the Royal Cameron is close to Bucerias. The front hand staff is very helpful in getting us information and arranging transportation to other areas. All in all a good vacation

Food…really did not like the buffet. Rice potatoes hot dogs ….no variety, no flavour, repeats every day. You need to up your food options. Salads were okay.

We enjoyed our stay with one exception the lack of sound proofing between room almost non existent. We could hear any sound from our neighbour and also talked with many guests that had the same issue. This alone would make me avoid this location. Staff was wonderful and food was adequate.

We did have OK time there. It did not start well as they wantet to check us in at 4pm, when the check in time is 3pm. I had to demend to talk to the manager who fixed it but was acting as he doing us a favor and no apology come from his mouth or anybody else from the reception. We traveled all night to get there. We have been to many properties and always have been checked in early when traveled overnight. After the initial bad experience the things got better. Nothing extraordinary but nice and relaxing. The food was below average but we always manage to find something. It is almost impossible to go to there advertised restaurants. You have to make reservations through an app staring 8 am and by 8:01 everything is booked. So if you expect to go to their restaurants, forget about that. This never happened to us to any of the 50 vacation spots we have been to.
