We had such a wonderful experience here! The property is gorgeous and so carefully maintained. Everything inside and out was SO clean. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. We loved the restaurants a! Kyoto was one of the best meals I’ve ever had! Shout out to our great waiter, Arturo! We also loved the custom cocktail cart on the lobby every evening-Yeudi makes amazing drinks! The beach was beautiful, great sand. We loved that they had a swimming area roped off. We swam in the ocean every day! We also loved the shows in the evening. We can’t say enough good things about what a great experience we had. We look forward to coming back!

I am a riu member and i travel a lot but unfortunatly this hotel riu was disappointing the food quality was terrible varity was so so,deserts was melted no entertainment during the day,was so borring,i was in peninsula las ameicas in cancun ,riu in cabo riu in costa rica riu in punta cana,they all were ok.but this riu was really bad.the fruits was not fresh i tried orange juice,90% water 10%juice.1st day of breakfast, omelet and eggs was cold.beef meat was not really beef we got food poisioned everyday by starting stomicache and nausia.we stop eating meat and were trying to use salads and frys.and veggies.i never go back to this hotel and i am not recommending.the only good things were staff.

One of the best resort experiences I've ever had. Check in was quick and we got a nice room with partial ocean view. Not only was it very pleasant to bask on the beach, there were several pools to hang out in. The all inclusive deal was the best idea. Drinks were great and served wherever we went. There were around 6 restaurants and a buffet, all world class, with various cuisines and delicious food. We tried all of them during our stay. There were daily fun activities within the hotel, and nightly musical events and other entertainment in their theatre. Not a single full moment. This place is a little far from downtown Puerto Vallarta, so you'll need to get your own vehicle or hire cabs to go visit town. All in all, a very satisfying experience that meet all our expectations of a relaxing beach vacation.

The buffet had good variety but mediocre quality. Restaurant food was much better quality. Most towels and bedsheets were stained—even replacements brought after complaints were still stained. The bed mattresses are extremely soft to the point that you sink right in. Housekeeping places pillows on guest luggage during sheet changes. Wi-Fi is extremely slow and unreliable. The RIU app doesn't work, so you must call or visit the front desk for everything. Fleas in sunbeds and rooms—bitten on day one, bites became infectious. Bring bug spray, antihistamines, and hydrocortisone cream. Hotel provides no first aid outside lifeguard hours, just a few poor-quality bandaids. Reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful. RIU Class falsely advertises free airport transfers—we were denied because we booked through Expedia. Stranded at the airport, approached by pushy vendors with high cab fares, and the on-site manager didn’t care when we called. Eventually, an airport staff helped us. Customer service staff are not trained to help — they argue with guests, brush off concerns by saying "we'll contact you later," and never follow up. At every point of contact, the lack of basic hospitality was shocking. Overall, the experience was very poor. The unbelievably poor customer service, hygiene, and dishonesty around advertised benefits completely ruined our vacation. I cancelled my Riu Class membership and would not choose Riu again, and I strongly advise others to not select this resort.

I have ZERO complaints about this resort! We had an amazing vacation. It is an adults only, which gave me some much needed adult time away from motherhood. The property was renovated about a year ago, and it shows. It is always immaculate, as employees are constantly cleaning the premises. There are several food options, so no matter your palate, you should find something enjoyable to eat. The beach is beautiful. There are always plenty of activities going on both on and off the resort. if you do not want to sit on the beach or by a pool all day. despite the many lively activities, the noise is kept at minimum so it does not disturb guests in their rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this resort and plan to return.

Our first all inclusive experience and it wont be our last! A stunning resort with everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay.
