Staff were amazing! Food was great as well. Such an awesome vibe and a super great place to take the kids!! If I had one bad thing I had to say, which is barely even an issue is that you can hear when people are in the hallway. But that was a very minor detail!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at Meliá Puerto Vallarta! The resort’s location in Marina Vallarta is ideal—just minutes from the airport and close to downtown. Our room was clean and comfortable, offering a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The buffet offered a good variety of delicious food, and the à la carte restaurants provided excellent dining experiences.

Al yegar al hotel y querer reservar en el restaurante nos dieron cupones y nos tuvieron ahí por mucho tiempo y la chica dijo q por qué nuestra categoría era baja nos hizo sentir mal y mi nietesita se enfermo agarro infección en la picina sucia eso dijo el doctor pagamos muchísimo éramos 6 personas y en el bufet muy mala atención e ido muchísimas veses a Vallarta perdón pero aquí no regreso jamás me refiero al hotel

Sure, this property is a bit older, but the staff, service, and food make up for it. Couple of issues with the showers but the team at Melia was quick to try and fix it. And when they couldn't quite get the shower working properly, they switched us to a new room. The resort only has two a la carte restaurants, and could use a proper sports bar to compete with some of the other resorts, but like I said, the quality food and service was amazing. Friendly and efficient. Would go back - you get what you pay for so if you have higher expectations, pay for a 5 star. 5 minute walk to the Marina which has a ton of bars and restaurants, and a $10 Uber ride to the Malecon, $15 to Zona Romantica.

We stayed here for a week l, March 29th-April 5. We absolutely love this resort and location and would definitely recommend and would come again. We ate mostly at the buffet because it was convenient around our day and they always got us in within minutes. The wait staff were all amazing. Only thing I recommend is never get any food from the front. My husband and I saw little kids sneeze and touch stuff and put it back several times while we were there. This is only parents fault though. One really awesome thing they did to go above and beyond, chef Hector, cooked us an amazing dinner from from the fish my husband and son caught from their fishing excursion. We saw 3 shows while we were there and loved them all. I like how they include the audience in some of them. It is close to the airport, maybe 10-15 minutes away and walking distance to the marina which you can find plenty of other restaurants and shopping.
