This is our third stay with a Melia resort. This resort is very close to the airport but you don’t hear any of the traffic from the planes. It’s beautifully maintained. The ocean here is not swimmable but the view up the coast from here is breathtaking. There are three restaurants: an al la carte, Mexican and seafood restaurant. The Mexican restaurant was the best. The food here is quite authentic and some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. The staff here are super friendly and helpful. I want to thank Leo the aquatic aerobics instructor for doing a great job leading a great exercise program and having excellent enthusiasm. Booking through Expedia allowed us to have a vip check in and access to a sit down breakfast place which we would normally have to pay extra for. We brought our 2 kids and they felt safe and taken care of by the staff. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone especially families. Thanks Melia for another great experience.

We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Service was well above average. The property is on the beach but the pool is huge and very safe. Our meals were all fine and we were surprised as to why so many people went to the buffet rather than the seafood specialty restaurant and the Mole y Taco option. This is an older facility in need of some updates but everything clean and functional.

We loved our stay here! The staff was always helpful and someone was literally cleaning at all times. The property is tired and could use a refresh but we had an excellent time. I only wished there was another a la carte restaurant and that the pool was heated. There was always chairs available and always something for the kids to do. Our bathroom door was broken and within an hour of letting someone know, it was fixed. Same when I said our bed was uncomfortable in passing, when we came in from the pool there was a foamy on our bed and definitely helped our sleeps. The distance to the marina was the best part! We spent lots of time down there exploring, especially the night market. We did forget a bathing suit in the bathroom so we're really hoping they end up finding it, but other than that we are happy travellers!

Everything was great! Rooms were clean, and Stefanie at the reception was very kind and helpful during our whole stay. Food was good at the buffet but we found the options at the pool snack bar very limited.

The Melia property clean, very well kept and the staff was amazing. the food was great and all amenities were top notch, the staff were friendly and very helpful. The property location to the marina was very convenient offering many different shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend the Melia resort and look forward to vacationing there again in the future.
