Jusy returning from a week at this resort. Thr plus was it's smaller and doesnt have a huge mass of patrons, but.... The foid wasnt great. Long beverage lines and little wait staff. The noise was ridiculous. Sometimes beginning at 730 a.m. until midnight and then the hallway moise wasnt filtered. Our room had everything we needed and was comfortable. We were part of the Altitude Club so had a little enlclosed area of ppol connected to the othwr Altitude rooms. The noise in our room because of its location next to passerby was feustrating

This was my first time to Puerto Vallarta. The resort was very nice, clean, with great service. They treat Expedia members as VIP’s! The all inclusive restaurants were extremely good! Will definitely come back!

The resort is on the smaller side and not much to do for kids other than the main pool. Beach area was nice and clean. Only recommendation we could make to the resort is to have the pool closest to the beach for everyone and not just adults. Other then that the staff and service were great and the food was good enough

We had a great time during our family vacation at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta – All Inclusive and would definitely come back again. The resort has beautiful pools, great amenities, and overall friendly staff that made our stay enjoyable. While the rooms were average and could definitely be cleaner and more updated, the overall experience made up for it. We stayed on the 6th floor and unfortunately, the elevator went out several times during our visit, which was inconvenient—especially if you have children. One downside was the person in the lobby who sells the activity packages—they were extremely rude and not welcoming at all. Thankfully, the separate Expedia check-in area was smooth and the representatives there were helpful and kind, as were the front desk staff. A highlight of our stay was dining at The Grill—the food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we loved it so much we went back a second time. Cannot recommend that restaurant enough! With a few improvements to the rooms and service consistency, this resort would be even better. But overall, we had a fun, relaxing time and would recommend it to others.

A Complete Disappointment – Altitude Upgrade Is a Scam! We traveled with 17 family members and paid an extra $3,000 for the Altitude upgrade at Krystal Grand Nuevo Vallarta. We were promised beachfront rooms, premium alcohol, and VIP treatment — all lies. Our “beachfront” room was pool view with a distant glimpse of the ocean. Other family members who didn’t upgrade but booked through Expedia got the same rooms. VIP check-in was in a basement with no welcome drink and food that looked like it had been sitting out all day. Our room was outdated: stained furniture, a leaking sink, broken toilet seat, bad smell, barely any hot water, and a fridge with just 3 beers, 3 pops, and 2 waters. Only one robe and a broken espresso machine. Worst of all, the room constantly smelt like septic — it was disgusting. Noise from the nightclub above made it impossible for my kids to sleep. When I asked for help, I was threatened with jail by a manager and told I was “jealous” of my family’s rooms. Staff were rude, the resort was dirty, the drinks reused unwashed plastic cups, and food was salty and gross. The only real benefit of the Altitude upgrade was first to reserve the restaurants. The best part of this trip was being with our family — the resort was a disaster. Save yourself the stress and don’t book here.

This is the best resort EVER!!! If you ever find availability Kristal grand Nuevo is the one. Everyone is so kind and friendly, as soon as I arrived, ROBERTO was so helpful he thought me things I didn’t know and everyone at the reception is great. Top Notch service. Everyone is so happy in this resort, It’s fun and relaxing...having many bars accessible 24/7 is great, as well as the 24/7 Room service, is fast and the restaurants are good. The spa is 20/10, amazing and the activities to do are many. I’ve been to many resort and this one is the best, check it out if you find it available. LOVE YOU KRISTAL❤️❤️🌊🏖️

Let’s put it this way the cons outweigh the pro’s of this place. Of your looking for a relaxing place, then this is not your place. Too loud, entertaining is heard in your room. Little staff speak English which made communication difficult. They charge you $8 for room service, we ordered room service once, however the order was wrong, and during check out when we told staff that the order was wrong, all they did was laugh. Anyways, $8 is nothing, but very unprofessional. Security is not existing here, people would smoke on their balcony's and nobody would follow up, and with the humidity, if you’re not a smoker, the stench is nauseating. Drunk people would gather at 3am by the pool area and continue talking and laughing without anyone telling them to shut up. Lounge chairs, have fun getting one. People would put their crap on the chairs and reserve them even though your not “supposed to”, and just leave to go eat or take a nap in their rooms, and there is never any spots available. For the small property of this resort, there is too many people. However the food was good, the pool area is nice. Staff are friendly. Rooms are cleaned 2x a day. But that’s about it with the pros. It seems like the building itself has a lot of issues. Our room flooded on the first day from the shower not being grouted properly, they didn’t give us a different room, just had someone regrout the shower floor in the evening. I would probably not come back and wouldn’t recommend this place.

The property is very nice and we loved that we could walk anywhere around the property in less than 2 minutes, the food was great and there were always options at the buffet, steak house and Mexican diner are a must, the staff are all nice and do whatever to please the guests. Overall we are happy with the time we spent over there

I love staying at the Krystal Grand, however there are a few things that I think need attention. The sports bar desperately needs new tables and chairs. And around the pool and by the taco stand there needs to be new tables and chairs. Otherwise, the place is great!

Some bartenders were not the friendliest but the rest of the staff were great. Very impressed with the food. Pools were very nice and the beach was good also. We had an oceanfront room that was very good

Very much average property and nothing special about this property. Multiple issues, such as many staff members did not speak English at all. Whenever we ask them something, they reply with yes, but then they will never deliver their services. We had to request them multiple times about things we have already asked them to deliver. Very average and mediocre food options in buffet. Limited restaurant options as well. We stayed there for six night, but we ate at their restaurants only two nights. Even worst was their alcohol collection. Very cheap alcohol collection and horrible cocktails. Even cheaper whiskeys such as black label, 12 years old Chivas Regal, Jack Daniels, etc. were not available to guests and only available to their prestigious guests with black bands. How cheap!

this property has so much potential but need to get better food all the same , no shows at nite sky bar need at least a DJ no kids programs or games , place is nice the pool but need more

I WAS LOCKED IN MY BATHROOM FOR 30 MINUTES!!! The bathroom door lock was not working. I took a shower and then was unable to exit my bathroom. Thank God, my husband was there so that I did not die in the bathroom. My husband called the front desk and they said that they would come fix it. However, it took them 15 minutes. Once the man came to fix the door, he could not get it and left my room for an additional 15 minutes. When he came back. He simply broke the door handle so that he could get me out. I then asked a manager to come to my room to discuss it with me and after they told me they would come to my room multiple times they never did. So I went down to the front desk and the manager, Jorge, told me that it did not sound like an emergency so they did not rush. He also told me that I needed to calm down and come back and talk to him at another time, although I tried to have the conversation in my room and he refused to come to my room and said that managers don’t usually do that to which I responded, do managers typically lock people in their bathrooms for 30 minutes? I will NOT return to this hotel. HORRID MANAGEMENT SERVICES.
