The staff were all amazing. Especially Daniel in Entertainment went out of his way to make us comfortable. The location is great and the pool area is lovely. I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5 and very affordable.

We stayed at Krystal Grand PV, when we booked we up graded to partial ocean view and when we got there we didn’t really care for the room so we were moved the next day to a full ocean view ( it was unbelievable view of watching ships coming and going) and another advantage of booking partial ocean view is we were able to go over to the adult only area and it was fantastic and no kids. So over all we were very happy.

We are from Canada, and the pool/beach activities fella, Danny, was awesome. He was great with my kids, and even gave them keychains the morning we left. We enjoyed our stay, the food was a amazing and such a variety of options. The staff are friendly, and spoke well English even for our kids to visit with. The bartenders were great and there was always staff cleaning and tidying up all areas of the resort.

The manager treated us horrible gave us a bad room it smelled we paid for a better room and more expensive room and gave us the worst one they had. He didn’t care for our concerns he just simply said take it or leave it you won’t find another room in the same day he was right.

I just want to start by saying that EXPEDIA could have noted that the hotel was being remolded because my view was another hotel being built literally 30 feet away. Pool/beach service, I have no complaints. Alexis was awesome. Never a dull moment. Rooms, not too bad but housekeepers could have been more attentive to cleaning. Weeks of dust sitting on some of their furniture. Room was missing iron. Safe and AC was not working. Food, well here comes the good part. Be very careful on what you eat here because my whole family got food poisoning. Just stay away from the stuff that sits outside in the heat all day. You can’t have ceviche sitting outside without proper temperatures. After this whole ordeal and we left hotel our driver had told us that another lady had been sick with food poisoning the day before. Someone please step in. Management, LUCY did an awesome job on providing medical attention to us without cost. Lucy does know what it takes to satisfy the customer because she was always checking up on us to make our stay more comfortable. Concierge helped us where they could but let’s be real, I haven’t met anyone that could help someone with food poisoning. You got to let it pass. Overall, I think it’s a good thing that Hyatt bought them out and is transitioning the hotel over but still months away. I think the food program needs help. I didn’t want to do this review because I felt bad for the people that really tried. I was in love with this hotel 2 years ag

1. Extreme Health and Sanitation Crisis The level of filth and neglect was shocking, and poses a serious health risk: • BED BUGS (With Evidence): The single most critical issue was discovering bed bugs on the premises. I have photographic proof of the insects and their waste, which I am attaching to this email. This is a severe, documented health violation that made the room instantly uninhabitable. • General Filth: Beyond the infestation, the room was disgusting. The mattress itself was stained, the sheets were dirty, and the toilet was visibly filthy. • Bad Odor: The entire room had a persistent, unpleasant, stale smell upon arrival that ventilation could not fix. • Unusable Amenities: Even basic items were unsanitary; the iron and ironing board were heavily stained and unusable. 2. Fraudulent Advertising and Unlivable Conditions The accommodation we paid for was not the one advertised, and the conditions were completely unlivable: • False Photos: The images on the Expedia listing are fraudulent and bear no resemblance to the current reality. • Undisclosed Construction: We were never warned that the resort is undergoing massive, loud construction directly outside our window, destroying any chance of relaxation. • Total Loss of Privacy: Because of the nearby construction, we had multiple workers constantly looking directly into our room throughout the day. We were forced to keep our blinds shut 24/7 for privacy and security, turning our getaway into a dark, stressful cell.

Pros: Very friendly pool and beach service staff. The hacienda pool waiter Carlos was absolutely amazing, constantly going above and beyond for out entire group and always maintaining a huge smile and positive attitude. Guiremo at the beach bar was also a treat to have serve us. Front desk attendants were very helpful in finding solutions to problems in the rooms which shouldn’t have ever happened at this price point. Cons: Staying at an active construction site was not disclosed. I was on the 7th floor and there was grinders and jackhammers going off at 7:00AM continuing throughout the entirety of the day, on both weekdays and weekends. Multiple of the rooms had Beatles, Moths and Bed Bugs littered throughout the rooms. Buffet food quality was mediocre at best, I was one of the few in our 15 person group that did not get sick. The A La Carte restaurant experience was terrible, 7/15 of us got the wrong order entirely and food quality was nothing better than the buffet. This “resort” was more so just a hotel. A total lack of activities for all age groups. Nearly nothing to do aside from go to the pool and beach which is an obvious expectation. Would never stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The staff was great! The food on the buffet was pretty decent but the Paella at the buffet was wonderful.The Italian restaurant ( must have a reservation) was wonderful, with good vibes, and the food was amazing! We didn’t have a chance to try the Mexican restaurant or the French restaurant, so maybe next time. The only thing I would make people aware of is that the room we were staying in the bathroom does not have a door separating it from the rest of the space. There are frosted glass doors to the shower and toilet for privacy but not a door to enclose the whole bathroom. The staff cleaned the pool every day and they refilled the mini fridge every day. The bar and lounge area are nice as well. They call you a taxi or uber for you if needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful so do not hesitate to ask for assistance or their advice.

Initial room selection was very inappropriate as there was a tremendous amount of construction being done close by due to renovations and a complex being built. Some things were also so-so in the room. Flagged the room issues with staff and got and 'upgrade': room had not been deep cleaned and visible traces of the previous stay were still visible. Turns out the last room i was given was in fact the best one and the most fitting of the reservation description I had booked several mo ths ago: It was u fortunated that i had to place several complaints to finally get what i was expectig to be set and done from the get go. Room service was ok but also sometimes forgetful on the night shift when requesting certain things. Pool area was ok. Got crowded very quick. Was at the beach most of the time due to this or went to the adult only side at the Hacienda complex when quiet and pool were needed. Bar selections are diverse, staff is very accommodating of requests for drinks. Dining experience (selected: La Catrina) was unfortunately very slow and not as authenticly mexican as initially described. Going to the old market area has proven better for views and better a la carte dining options. Food wise, buffets and all sides of the complex were very good. Regardless of the hiccups, i would book at the Krystal Grand Puerto Vallarta again.

I don’t typically leave reviews, but this resort deserves it. The ocean views were stunning, the food was excellent, and the service throughout the resort was outstanding. The rooms, pools, and dining options were all exceptional. It’s also a wonderful place for families—our kids especially enjoyed the gaming station. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable vacation Drinks were amazing.

El servicio es bueno, las instalaciones están bien aunque el edificio se siente algo viejo, las bebidas y la comida fueron de buena calidad y la atención del personal fue buena en general.

Room cleaning staff forgot to load our fridge with water bottles but other than that it was a great value for a very nice hotel
