I wish the "check-in" with guests about things theyd like was after 1-2 days, but ours was day b4 we left. Food was great, but wished there was a bigger selection to order from- especially at lunch. It was difficult to navigate first several days.

The pool was filthly, the pillows had mold, and they wouldn’t clean the room floors. Food options were okay except for the Asian style restaurant, they sat us in a table that made us believe we were getting a tepanyaki dinner but they just needed to use it as seating. Each restaurant asked if we had any allergies and in one restaurant they brought us some desserts, in one dessert it has peanuts and my son is allergic! We stated he was allergic to peanuts before entering the restaurants. We would not go back to fiesta Americana.

I really wanted to like this place. Convenient location other than that I didn’t like anything. Food is awful. And if you don’t upgrade you have limited access to anything. If you don’t make reservations to dinner at night you can only have room service. So you are stuck. I felt like Inwas bothering the staff if I asked any questions but they were really quick to try to sell me time shares. So never again.

We couldn’t decide between the Hilton and Fiesta Americana. This hotel had better reviews, but we like the Hilton better. It was cleaner better location, better food. All the dining was outside which made for an uncomfortable dinner. We plan to return, but will be staying at the Hilton.

Would love to see more staff hired for hotel

unfortunately, there wasn’t enough staff to accommodate all the guests at the hotel. There were times where the waiters couldn’t bring out water. I believe there was only two chefs per restaurant, so we once waited 2 1/2 hours for our food for the Asian restaurant dinner, even though we were a party of 14, several of the dishes were similar, but regardless, most of the food seemed premade. I also saw one bartender for guests at the bar and for guests at the restaurants. I would love to see more more people get hired at the hotel. In addition, the temperature control for the rooms were not comfortable. There was no in between a really cold or as hot and humid as it was outside. And sometimes I would’ve preferred hot and humid, but the floors would get slippery due to condensation, as was advised by the hotel. The beds also seemed at least 10 years old, the springs were ran through, and I had a hard time sleeping each night. And all the pillows also had smells to them. I was on the seventh floor, and in the morning coffee would be available in the center room, but there wouldn’t be actually any coffee there, but there was teabags and lukewarm water. I did really appreciate the rooftop bar for adults that we paid extra for. The service there was phenomenal and consistent. And also the other adult only bar on top of the cevicheria. My friends did love the massages that the hotel had. And we appreciate the available taxi service app from the hotel and easy lobby assistanc

Overall this was a great property. A few cons: when I asked for espresso at breakfast they told me I’d have to walk to the cafe. Not super guest focused in my opinion. Food was hot or miss: some things were amazing and some were at or below average. Housekeeping was on top If it and wonderful. Also, be prepared for the property to try and sell you a vacation share type thing.
