Humidity smell is in the room. Service is very terrible Staff takes long to clean the room or take the stuff out off the room. Food or plates stays for two days out infront of the door till I called and asked to come clean.

Loved our stay. Hotel grounds were beautiful. Pools were big enough. Ocean swimming was great. Restaurants were generally decent. Made resos through the site and it was easy. Sushi was a surprising standout. Entertainment was meh, but that’s not what we were looking for. Views from the rooms were gorgeous - everyone got an ocean view. Saw humpback whales jumping. Service was always good. Even if a little slow by the beach or pool. Close to town so we went in a couple times - Tuna Azul was delish. The only big cons were the extra charges for certain menu items and there was no coffee shop - just a dumb Starbucks with Starbucks prices. Having a $$$ coffee bar where even snacks are $$$ is sacrilege in an all inclusive. You could get a coffee to go at the buffet but it wasn’t exactly convenient. Hotel is in good shape but showing wear. Having to wear a wristband sucked. But honestly the Starbucks is the worst part. Don’t f&@ck with my coffee.

Nice resort. Room was good. View was very nice from the room. Generally very well maintained and clean. Overall vibe was more chill and not rowdy. Private beach which was great. Food was okay but not the best.

We had a good time but felt the experience was less than expected for a Hilton branded property. Our previous experience with an all-inclusive Hyatt-Breathless Soul was superior and a bit less expensive. Our accommodations were average and we were located right across from a staff service area and each day we went to bed and woke up to the staff blasting music and/or speaking so loud it was difficult to sleep. The food was just okay—no variety each day in the Vela—same menu aside from the nightly buffets. The individual restaurants were nice but nothing exceptional. While the majority of the staff were friendly, some of them treated us like we were interrupting them. The one bright spot—the pool and spa experience. My massage was so good (I asked for deep tissue and medium to firm pressure) and my body was sore the next day. I literally got what I asked for and my body needed it!! Gabriela was AMAZING and an absolute professional. I really like Hilton properties but will not return to this one again.

Family vacation 13 of us. We enjoyed everything very much. Great pools and beach, nice rooms and great service. The only issues we had were restaurants, getting in even if we did not all sit together. But the hotel was full.

This is a 3 star at max resort on it’s BEST. The service throughout my whole trip was horrible. Long check in lines. Barely any attention or service at the restaurants. The rooms are average at best and poorly clean. There were stains on my best sheets I had to be asked to be changed and dust everywhere. The food is Rui level and most not edible. I barely survived for three days and no meal is worth highlighting. The best thing at this resort are the views. But not worth the associated price time. Save your time and money and stay elsewhere

Wow what a gem to stay at! Last minute Black Friday decision to get way for New Years and we made the right choice! Restaurants were great America, hostess, made sure we could always get a table. Norma was a most exquisite waitress. And Jose at poolside bar never let your drinks run dry or your appetite linger without asking if you were ready for more. To round it off, Saul was alway around as any tireless piece working like magic from the background and threw one heck of a NYE Party. Thank you all for your service with a smile and making this a very memorable stay.
