I love this Hampton Inn. There is a shuttle that will pick you up from the Amtrak train and take you to the hotel free of charge. In addition, they offer a complimentary breakfast. The rooms are so comfortable. I got the best night's sleep. It is located on 2 blocks from Johnson and Wales University, which was our purpose for going to Providence, RI. I loved the staff. They are very pleasant and helpful. Staying there was like staying with family and friends. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night to attend a show at the theater just a couple of blocks down the street. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The hotel was clean and quiet, and the complimentary breakfast was good and had lots of options. There was also a 24 hour coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar, and they had fresh cookies available at check in. My only complaint is that the room darkening shades did not close all the way - they appeared to be more for decoration, whereas the sheer shades could open and close.
