The hotel is located very conveniently for the river and the bridge, with a short walk to Ribiera and the port houses in Vila de Gaia. The staff, especially the reception staff, were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The best part was the location. Walking distance from everywhere, right before the tunnel which is where the traffic begins. Will stay here again. Breakfast buffet pastries are great. Sometimes they have passion fruit.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights and highly recommend it because of its excellent location with stunning views of the river and bridges: there is a cable car that takes you to the city center, and there are many restaurants nearby. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. The hotel has a rooftop terrace with beautiful views.

My only real complaint was the fact that at 4 AM one morning my lights came on 100%. The key card wasn’t even in the slot. The receptionist didn’t seem to really care that that had happened and didn’t follow up with me at all to ensure that she had checked into it. It was super weird and a little unnerving

Everything was great except for the breakfast room. The sun was bright, pouring into the room with few blinds. It was hard to enjoy breakfast with the sun shining into your face . The last day we realized we could have had our breakfast in the bar area, there were a lot of tables and a German couple was in there in the shade . The roof top bar get crowded but has a great bar tender, he made me a Little Havana Sangria.

Breakfast buffet the best experienced outside of Asia. Our room was spacious and quiet. Love the convenience. Very walkable to Ribeira Square with lots of restaurant options and activities. Staff was very friendly.

Hotel was disappointing. Very small room with scuffed up walls. Our river view on the fourth floor was a concrete wall you needed to peer over. Bed not very comfortable and water not provided. Have to buy water or get it from the bathroom sink. No coffee maker in room, only a kettle, and most days the tea or instant coffee was not replenished. Location not great- nothing around the hotel if you need to grab a coffee or snack.
