This property was superb!!! The location was definitely worth every penny! It was sooooo clean and made you feel at home! Also, the staff, in particular May’s! He was excellent! He went above and beyond and made sure everything went smooth. We had a problem with uber and he made sure we got picked up and even walked us with our luggage to the meeting point! Thanks May! Authentic, unpretentious, cozy, quiet, comfortable. Lovely, friendly staff, who seem to enjoy chatting with the guests. Fantastic breakfast spread every day. Easy stroll to the river while passing multiple shops, cafes and restaurants, with live music performances along the way. Directly across the street from Time Out Market, an amazing array of wonderful food and drink options. If we returned to Porto we would stay here again.

Fabulous location! The staff are wonderful and the breakfast had a great selection. Our room was at the far back of the hotel, walking through the courtyard and up the stairs. But honestly it was more of an adventure and no problem as I walk with a cane. Don't forget to try the herbal teas - they are delicious and their gown on the hoteliers farm.

Lovely older building. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We left our luggage before we checked in and when we returned our luggage had been moved to our rooms. The housekeeping was impeccable and buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious! A great and centrally located property.
