Welcome to the Blue Cottage, a serene retreat nestled in the picturesque West Hills of Portland. Prepare to be captivated by breathtaking vistas that encompass the majestic Mt. Hood, the meandering Willamette River, the imposing presence of Mt. St. Helens, and the vibrant tapestry of Downtown Portland. The Blue Cottage is on a small hill, with a driveway leading to the garage of the home. For those who rise with the sun, witnessing its ascent over Mt. Hood from the Blue Cottage is an unforgettable spectacle. The home has a fully stocked kitchen and living room for guests to use. Beautiful enclosed balcony located on the upper level to enjoy the amazing mountain, river and valley views. Large deck located to the side of the home for a bonfire, grilling, or simply relaxing. Fabulous certified natural habitat garden. Contains a diverse collection of native flora and fauna. Guest access Entire House - Garage to privately park vehicle - Garden - Deck. Our neighborhood rests at the top of Corbett Avenue, with walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants, such as Elephants on Corbett, Jola Coffee, and more. Great location and well-stocked home
Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage.

Cute and Clean
We had a great time here. The property was clean and wonderfully stocked with items for our stay. We loved the plants throughout the house as well. Lots of natural light and amazing views. The property is up a steep driveway and there are stairs to the home, that’s one thing that wasn’t listed that we would have loved to know before booking. The host was quick to get back to us and we had a great time. ❤️

I look forward to staying at the Blue Cottage again. Our host, Sebastian, has maintained the traditional VRBO experience with tasty snacks, a couple of things in the fridge and just the right amount of notes and labels around the house to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The Blue Cottage is lovely and has a mesmerizing view. Thank you, Seb for a wonderful long weekend. nancy

Great place to stay outside the city
We needed a place to stay during our visit to Lewis and Clark College. The driveway is steep, but well worth it. Garage to park in, charming property with a great view and well appointed everything. We loved the time here and will come back on our next visit.

Blue Cottage is a treasure
This cottage was perfect for our week end visiting our Lewis and Clark college student. Long range views, glittering at nights over the river. close to everything. Lots of welcoming touches.
