A lot of apartments have permanent residents. Beware of their overflowing ashtrays and empty beer cans. The place felt seedy and was way overpriced.

The unit was exactly what we wanted - except there was no tropical view from the rooms which was what we had expected. Bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen/living were good. The exception being that some of the kitchen appliances were not cleaned ready for our use.

Great staff and relaxed accommodation

The staff were friendly with great tips on the highlights of the town. The unit was comfortable and clean. A very relaxed atmosphere, not too busy. Great spot near the beach and walk to shops, food and drinks.

Nice place

Overall it was ok. Great if you only really need accommodation & will be spending your time out & about. Not for anyone who wants to stay somewhere & actually use facilities to keep entertained. The pool isn't as big as looks in the photo, the washing machine in our room didn't work, we weren't allowed to use the tennis courts during our 4 day stay, bbq area was dirty & we were put next to people that chainsmoked on their balcony which prevented us from sitting out on our balcony & opening our doors up to let the breeze in. On the plus side the owners were nice enough, Port Douglas has alot to offer & we'll be staying somewhere else next time.

Hi Courtney, Thanks for your feedback in relation to your stay here at Titree but we are a little bit confused in relation to your comments. We would ask you to contact us directly and clarify the issues that you have raised so we can improve our service to other guests. We were fully booked during the time of your stay and the barbecue and pool area is a focal point for all our guests. The barbecue area has been recently re-tiled, has a brand new hotplate and brand new furniture. In relation to its cleanliness you wanted to cook your breakfast on it however it hadn't yet been cleaned from the night before. We cleaned the hotplate immediately when you brought it to our attention. At no stage has the tennis court not been available to guests so we don't understand your comment in relation to lack of access and the washing machine was working fine when we checked it. All of the genuine issues that you have raised could and were easily resolved at the time. Our apartments represent extremely good value for money in Port Douglas in comparison. Thank you once again for your feedback.

Nice, comfortable Appartment

Pros: Friendly staff and comfortable stay
Location: Easy and close access to beach, essential shops close by, away from the husstle and bustling crowds.
Really enjoyed the private and comfortable accommodation, good facilities, great friendly staff. Close to shops and a short stroll to the beach. Recommend

Dirty and uncomfortable

Our 2 bedroom apartment was awful. Very dirty, dust everywhere and even a couple of cockroaches. It looked like it was at the beginning of a renovation, there was even a makita angle grinder left if the bedroom. When we checked out we were told that it was the "emergency room" for when the resort is full. It was nowhere near ready to be used by paying guests. Staff were nice and friendly but unfortunately I can not recommend anyone staying there.

Hi Frank we are sorry for the late reply but we have been busy renovating apartments!! At the time of your stay we had just arrived in this position and still trying to find our feet. We appreciate the feedback but you failed to mention the price you paid for the apartment at the time of your stay and the cost of alternative accommodation elsewhere. It was obvious at the time that work was being conducted on the apartment on the day of your arrival and we apologize for the oversight regarding the grinder and a bit of dust. If it was brought to our attention we would have rectified the problem and any others you had immediately. We would like to invite you back tot he resort on your next holiday at a reduced cost so we can show of what we have achieved the last 18 months. Thanks again.
