I’ve been using Expedia for over a decade. However, this was my first extremely unpleasant check-in experience. We were told at the hotel that we need to pay additional $375 for our kids apparently Expedia didn’t process the booking correctly although I had a booking confirmation for 2 adults and 2 kids. After a week long back and forth with finger pointing Expedia denied our request for refund. Please be aware of a possibility of this extortion when booking this hotel.
The resort itself is maintained but definitely outdated and shabby. Food was Ok. The territory is massive so be prepared to walk a lot. The shuttle between the lobby and the beach is very seldom.The beach is very nice and actually was the highlight of the trip. Kids club hours are odd. 3 hrs on the morning and 2 hrs in the afternoon. The stuff was friendly and welcoming.
