Melia - accommodation in Playa Bibijagua

The room was fantastic and my family had such a blast! The only real downfall, and the only reason I wouldn’t necessarily book here again is that the restaurants book up way too quickly, and the food in the buffet is subpar. The coffee in the room is also really not good, but the cappuccinos you can order at the buffet and the bars were fantastic.

I’ve had better experiences at other resorts, and this is not a place I would personally choose again. I visited to celebrate a friend, as this was her preferred destination. Unfortunately, the stay did not meet expectations. The room was not cleaned daily and was not consistently restocked. There was no concierge available, which made it difficult to get assistance when needed. Additionally, several scheduled events either did not take place or were moved without clear communication. When we asked staff for guidance, not all were knowledgeable or able to provide accurate information. Overall, the experience lacked the level of service and organization I expect when staying at a resort.
