Beach had a lot of seaweed the pool was great, Food was horrible customer service was not great, they didn’t explain much when we first got here. Got my towels stolen in two separate days, got locked out my room and my bracelet card wasn’t working for “technical” issues. Tried to eat outside the resort because I couldn’t stand the food another day and when I order a ride the ride couldn’t go through because of security. I’ve gone here 4 times and the first 3 I loved it this time it was embarrassing to take my partner here especially after hyping it up in the past.

Stay at Barcelo Bavaro Beach Adult only. All around had a very good experience. Everything is in a walkable distance. Pool is big and very clean. Beach is gorgeous. There are a lot of beach and pool lounge chairs, so you don’t have to wake up early to reserve it. The service is good, even the most of stuff members don't speak English, they are smile, friendly and helpful., The room in the hotel is outdated and need to be renovated, but it’s a big size, clean, with comfortable bad, good smell. The food on adult side is good, plenty of choice, the Chez restaurant is very good. We went twice to the restaurant to Barcelona Bavaro Princess and both time had a stomach problem after that. So, if you want to be save don’t go to eat to other side. The other side is huge, a lot of people everywhere, very crowded with dirty pool. So we stayed at the adult side most, there very relaxing, quiet and clean. As an adult only visitor you may go every there and use all Barcelo Grand Resort amenities, pool, buffet, restaurant, casino, bowling and more. We prefer to stay at adult only side as I sad earlier there very relaxing and quiet atmosphere. I definitely recommend this resort if you want to relax, have a beautiful beach.

Welcome was beautiful from the airport all the way to the hotel. The VIP lounge is beautiful. Well done but entertainment was very, very weak. I felt bored and nothing to see.The drinks was great . Buffet food was not all that good the only food that was good was the Mexican restaurant and the seafood place which you have to get reservation for it at night. One particular staff mess up the whole stay for me, I ordered drinks he never brought it over he keep looking at me and avoid the table. I always leave tips too at my table.oh the room phone no body answer it. I can text to WhatsApp number only no phone calls they will hang up on you. It was very difficult to communicate because of the language barrier the food was the same every day not very good entertainment overall it was just not a pleasant stay will not stay here again beautiful property.

It seems like this resort needs a renovation. It looked dirty. My room had a leaking in the bathroom and bad odor. The food was really bad with poor finish and lack of variety and the drinks were disgusting.

Great place to visit, the only thing I didn’t like is that the beach is not truly *adults only* per say since a lot of parents with kids walking by from other hotels. For all the water activities, you have to walk along the beach to the other hotel. They can do a better job on nightlife activities in the adult section of the hotel, other than that, pretty good place to stay.

The premium package is a most love all the benefits. But even without premium they have excelent customer service. Too me this hotel have it all with out the need of living the hotel. Plus staying here you can enjoy all the Barcelo Bavaro Palace amenities.

This was hands down the nicest resort we have visited. The service was excellent, staff were accommodating and kind, the property and room was spotless, food was delicious and abundant, and the view from our ocean front room with a jacuzzi tub was the icing on the cake. This is our second stay at a Barcelo, and we will definitely stay at other Barcelo resorts!
