The staff here are AMAZING!! We originally booked elsewhere and had so many issues that we ended our last 5 nights at Melia Caribe and it was amazing. The staff are so friendly and really want to make your stay great. We arrived at almost 11pm and they placed us vip, room near the ocean and happily welcomed us at that time of night. Food was good but what makes this place amazing is there is something for the kids to do the whole day! Water park during the day, playstations for the kids, game room and a separate play place you take a shuttle to for miniature golf, rope climbing. Nightlife was always going on. Although resort needs some upgrading i would gladly come back for the staff and endless things to do for my son. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one! We are so grateful to the staff and will be back in a few months! My son loves it so much and didn't want to leave! Thank you again for everything!

Worth upgrading to The Level, the food and service at Riviera is a lot better and the pool isn’t as busy as the main one. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Santa then you will be well looked after she is the best - each morning and afternoon she knew exactly what we needed and had it ready for us. The hotel grounds are stunning, buggy service is great and the peacocks roaming the grounds are stunning. Rooms could do with an upgrade but they are spacious and do their job. Kids Club staff are lovely, they put on so much for the kids and have such good energy! They are brilliant

Superb services and the hospitality what’s gonna bring me back here. The hotel is absolutely stunning, but the service is even better. I want to especially thank any liriano and neztalis from the front desk they were awesome. Also all the porters and bartenders were amazing. I definitely recommend this hotel if you want a peaceful and fun place to relax. Also forgot to mention all the nightly activities were awesome. You get a show and a party after.

Everyone was very friendly and eager to help. It's clean, it's beautiful, everything is very nice. I definitely recommend Rumba and the bazaar buffet for when you eat... they are by far the best food, service and ambiance of anywhere in the resort.

We didn't like sheets and pillows, it felt like wet and not fresh even it was just changed. There were also not enough lounge beds on the beech and near the pool, we always ended up lying on our towels.

The whole experience was amazing for my family! Our concierge Any was amazing and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time and didn’t go without or missing out on anything. The spa was very relaxing and Paula was great. She gave an amazing massage and body wrap. Would definitely recommend for families, couples, girls trip.

My husband and I were very disappointed with our stay here at the Melia Caribe. We chose to upgrade to the level and as VIP Expedia Gold members we had to pay additional $800 we brought it down to $450 and saw no difference from the regular standard experience offered here at your resort. We have been traveling here to Melia Caribe for the past 20 years and have seen all of the changes with staffing, especially the food the complementary lobster that was once offered at the Gabi Restaurant the level which is now called the Riviera. The buffet stations at the front the Riviera and the back by the beach are all the same food little or no meat options! steak options were available unless you book your seat at a sitdown restaurant. There were no activities by the pool, the shows at night were geared more towards the kids came across the level beach, barefoot restaurant, which is now part of Zel-which now we have no beach restaurant, which should be an option as part of level guests-we also do not have any private Concierge golf cart service! Huge disappointment also, there was no level bag in our room. Upon arrival I had to ask for it and normally we would get a complementary bottle of rum and appetizer or fruit upon arrival which was not in our room. With the prices, you are charging here at the Melia. I will pay more next time to go to Cap Cana, the Hyatt, Dreams or St Regis by Marriott and have a better experience with more food options and more hospitality!

My stay here was very enjoyable. The staff was exceptional. From when I arrived, the front desk staff were super friendly and Any quickly greeted me and was able to help me with anything I asked for the whole trip, fast and effectively. She was very nice and assisted me in many ways to ensure we had a great stay. The whole property was beautiful and very very well kept. The activities coordinators specifically “Sexy Body”, Yoby, Elizabeth, and really all of them were super fun, entertaining, and got a lot of guests involved with the numerous activities. They made the trip a lot more fun and interactive. I also really enjoyed the fact that the golf carts constantly circled the property and were able to escort you anyway, that was a very nice feature. The wait staff was also very nice, specifically Alexander who helped us multiple times over at Rumba. The bartenders were mostly nice as well and put on a show, I don’t know his exact name but I think it was along the lines of “Edwinson” over at the lobby bar was super entertaining and making us laugh. Carlos was also great too and always seemed to have a smile on his face! Overall this property was BEAUTIFUL, and I would recommend it highly.

The reception staff were respectful, nice and friendly. Room was in good condition. Housekeeping team did a great job. The only thing that needs an attention is not enough beach loungers for the visitors. If you get on the beach little later in the morning, there is no loungers available. You have to run around for one but.....
