Room was satisfactory but the service from staff was underwhelming. The person we checked-in with was not very welcoming. He was bit condescending when I asked about how is the room since it was cheaper garden view room. Service in the bars and restaurants were mixed, sometimes good, sometimes downright worst. Lobby bar staff ignored my wife’s order and skipped to the guests that came after her until one of the guests points out she was there first. Even then he didn’t apologize. Buffet restaurants were missing labels for the food or had wrong labels. It was hard to understand what’s being served. Overall, it was mostly bad experience. If I had to compare my experience in one of all inclusive hotels in Cancun Lopesan left me disappointed.
