The staff was soooooo friendly and helpful.they need to upgrade the rooms. Bathrooms specifically were below standard. Fruit flies peeling bath tub. Honestly the worst bath experience I’ve had at any hotel. Also terrible pool.

My toilet leaked onto the bathroom floor and into the carpet. I immediately packed my bags and left. I want a refund. I went to the Hyatt and had a lovely stay. This is the second time I stayed at the Double Tree. Last year I didn’t have hot water for 3 days and my room was dirty. The Propery is dirty. The bed linens were used. This time I refused to stay there and left. I will not be back to the Double Tree Pittsburgh ever again.

Most of the staff was quite polite and accommodating. However, there was a Caucasian valet parking attendant who was quite rude to myself and my daughter. He wouldn’t allow us access to our car to retrieve several items and told us we simply had to wait until everyone else got their cars delivered. We waited over an hour and he never returned to help us. Fortunately, my husband was not in the immediate vicinity. Had he been, the way the valet spoke to us would have been dealt with a lot differently. He was very unprofessional and dismissive.

Very friendly guy at the front desk who welcomed us with warm choc chip cookies and game our dog a dog treat. All 3 of us were thrilled. Good hotel in a great location downtown Pittsburgh. Good walking trails along the river and great nearby dining options too. Felt safe walking around.
