Great people, but....

Room was perfect for large family. I just had to bring more plates/cuttlery, which I expected. Breakfast was good, kids 3-16 y/o all ate well. Staff was wonderful, all polite and kind to my children and me. There was confusion with housekeeping and our room was not serviced in the 4 days there except when I called to have trash taken out. Hotel showed its age and room could have been cleaner, but wasn't Dirty. Our biggest issue was that my children did not notice that the pool chemicals were out of balance on our second day. When they returned from swimming all 4 that were in the water that day had significant eye pain/burning and facial skin irritation that lasted for 12-36 hours. It was terrible. All of my kids were very upset that I made the pool off limits for the rest of our stay, especially because it is their facorite part of staying at a hotel.

The room was pretty clean and almost everything was perfect for us. We are not very picky BUT I expect hotel beds to be GOOD at least. The beds here are awful. The main king bed was almost as uncomfortable as the pull out couch. I did not sleep well here. The staff and front desk people were really nice, so I didn't want to have anything bad to say.

The sheets were not changed, they had blood on them, the toilet was covered in urine. Only good thing about this hotel was location

This hotel is badly in need of an update. The pool was not working, we asked for repairs in our room, which did not happen and Hotel generally is showing its age. The staff was OK at best. I think that a new manager would go a long way. Great location and very convenient. However, we will find another option next time unless they make some significant changes.

There was nothing listed about needing to have $100 deposit for any problems with the room. I've heard of having a credit card on file but not taking $100 and then holding on to it for multiple days. It's been a few days since I've had my trip and I still don't have my $100 back. I'm attaching images from the hotel roomie stayed in the curtains looked like I hope a food sub since on them otherwise it was a bodily function there was black mold in the bathroom. There was different stains and blemishes throughout the room. We were not aware that the pool was closed that was the main reason that we stayed at this location there was nothing posted that the pool was closed in advance. Breakfast is only until 9:30. Overall very disappointed the room was not clean the staff was absolutely nasty. I would avoid this hotel at all costs. It was close to what we needed so it worked. However between the dirtiness and the unfriendly staff I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel
