Location was key to this stay, hotel services were above and beyond. Valet was excellent and efficient. I really appreciated this hotel and the services provided. I would highly recommend a room with a view. It made my stay the most enjoyable.

This place is outdated. The elevators were filthy and did not function properly. The rooms were outdated. No room for cloth, no coffee maker, small fridge on floor with a microwave on top. That is very tacky, dirty carpet, tub backed up with water, only 2 towels for three people for four nights staff was very friendly though. Windows dirty, beds were hard

The restaurants inside the hotel served good food. There is a breakfast buffet that is great too. The hotel itself is outdated; the wallpaper is old and peeling in areas, the room I stayed in had an old musty smell. The bed was not at all comfortable to me and the thermostat was not working properly; I was constantly feeling a cool draft in the room even with turning the heat up. I could be a little too judgmental but you can tell the hotel needs renovated. I would stay there again but only a night or two nights. It was my first time visiting Pittsburgh so maybe the other hotels downtown are just as outdated as this one.
