The hotel staff is wonderful in every way! Even when I couldn’t find my phone charger, one of the staff loaned me his personal cord. Above and beyond, clean room, great location and an awesome pool And grounds.

The hotel is located behind Patong Street. Every time we took a taxi back to the hotel, we got stuck in traffic near Patong Street for about 20 minutes, which was a huge waste of time. The sound insulation in the room is extremely poor. The entire floor consists of connecting rooms separated only by two doors, neither of which can be locked. If both doors are open, you can walk directly into the neighboring room. We could clearly hear the conversations of the guests next door, and even their phone ringing throughout the entire night. Whenever anyone walked by outside the door, their footsteps were clearly audible. We arrived at 2:30 pm but still couldn't check in. Despite there being many rooms, they insisted on making us wait until 3:00 pm. We left our luggages for storage. When we returned in the evening, we found our luggages unattended, simply left at the hotel entrance. The breakfast experience was very disappointing. A staff member seated us at a particular table, only for another guest to confront me, claiming the table was hers. The staff did nothing to help mediate the situation or arrange another table for us. The other breakfast area required waiting in line in the morning due to overcrowding. Coffee machine in the breakfast area is always problematic. We requested for late check out but key card was deactivated when we returned, we had to go back to the lobby and line up in order to reactivate the key card which is another waste of time.

Loved the pools and amenities !! Good location. Roman was clean but small. Bathroom was tough for 2 people to get ready. A second mirror plug in would be nice. Also no drawer space for clothes. Restaurants were good not amazing and a bit pricey.

For me I’ve been in hotels for 25 years of my working life, smoke stack isn’t very good. Poor quality of food, ingredients on the menu but not on the plate & ingredients on the plate that weren’t on the menu. Goats cheese starter being the biggest issue here & under cooked chicken? In 2026 there is no excuse for under cooked chicken. Breakfast cooking is very inconsistent too, some days great omelettes and others could have quite easily been frozen. However the staff serving were very good. Pool bar pretty much same issue. Some days lots of ham in the sandwich others, I’m looking for the ham. Pizza was very good and very good. I don’t know if there is an issue with too much offering or poor quality staff training on the dishes. The hotel offered a good check in, Money was very professional. 1st night on arrival the host at the Phuket eatery looked at her watch when asked if we could eat after a pre phone call from reception. We then had to order all 3 courses at once? Room very clean & tidy a little dated now with the corridors looking very tired, For me coming to Thailand for the first time, location is good for the local shops & golf courses. Would I stay again? Yes but only on b&b as the biggest part of why I come away is to eat and the food let the hotel down.

The room, staff, service were all excellent. However the major let down is that there are too many Israelis at the resort. They are very loud, obnoxious and have no manners which ruined some of our stay.

We stayed for 16 days in late December 2025, but the experience fell short of Marriott standards. As Bonvoy members who have stayed at many Marriott properties worldwide, this hotel did not justify its high cost compared to other Phuket resorts. It felt more like a 3-star property—Marriott-branded but at a local standard. Key issues: Multiple requests to change rooms due to noise and food smells were ignored until the last day. Reception staff had limited English and were unresponsive; we had to repeat queries to different people. Breakfast was overcrowded, with limited seating and food options; long waits to be seated. Steakhouse food was poor quality and overly salty; complaints were ignored with no refund. Gym was tiny, like a basic home setup. Strong food smells and noise during prep, especially 5–6 am and 6–7 pm. If you’re comparing prices with other Phuket hotels, this property does not offer the quality expected from Marriott.

Had a few problems. 1- Booked Premier room but it overlooked the car par and Main Road but it was too noisy and they moved us. 2 - Room was not a premier room and looked out on to a hedge/ fence and one bed the mattress was too uncomfortable and worn. 3 -Moved us again to a pool facing room, much quieter. In all the rooms the TV was unwatchable and every few minutes was loosing signal which is unacceptable for a hotel of this class.
