The check in process was very smooth and the hotel staff member that I worked with was very professional and quick about the check in process. The room was ok we got a junior suite which was not a suite at all the only difference was that we had a pull out sofa. The biggest thing upon entering the room was that there were very few lights and the ones in there had dim light bulbs. This was worst in the bathroom where one of the vanity lights would only work when it wanted to. I tried to tighten the bulb but to no avail. A hotel really only needs to get 2 things right in my book, the mattress and the shower. This property definitely needs an update on both. The mattress was soft and kind of lumpy and the shower was probably the worst experience I have ever had with my clothes off. The water hardly dribbled out of the shower head from a lack of water pressure. I understand that my visit was during peak season, however for what I received for the price, I would have been better off at a motel 6. The ONLY reason to stay here is the proximity to the ball park. I will not be fooled by your big brand name again in the future.

Highly overpriced for a hotel in desperate need of renovation. Paid an extremely high premium to stay here because of an event being hosted at the property. Floor tiles in the bathroom were loose and not secured to the floor, shower was load with no pressure, heat/cooling system did not work. If you turn on the thermostat it would blow slightly cooler air into the room, temperature adjustment did nothing. Turning thermostat off completely at night was the only way to hold a reasonable temperature. TV remote didn't work and elevators were extremely slow. Staff was very friendly but really had no power. Too bad because the property around the hotel is very nice. Hopefully they can fix it before fleecing more customers.

I was surprised there were no plugs on the nightstand lamps. Bring a long charger cord and plug and you'll be fine.I liked the toiletries manly scent but I'm not sure most woman would so ladies maybe bring your own. The ice machines on 3rd floor needs a DEEP cleaning. There are numerous areas to walk around on and liked the park
