This remodeled 3-bedroom, 2-bath house is located within walking distance of Arizona State University and Mill Avenue, which is the heart of downtown Tempe. City bus routes and a light rail system make this location very desirable. The property is close to Sun Devil Stadium, Grady Gammage Auditorium, Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake, which is the home of the annual Ironman Triathlon and numerous other events. The AZ Cardinals stadium is a 30-minute drive away so this property is a perfect location for AZ Cardinals games and the annual Fiesta Bowl. If interested, the owner often has extra AZ Cardinals tickets. The nightlife of this college town makes this home ideally located for those who want to vacation in a quiet neighborhood close to where the action is. Since the property is very centrally located in the metro Phoenix area, you can hang out in Tempe or go anywhere in the metro Phoenix area very quickly and inexpensively. Executive as well as designer golf courses are nearby. A short drive will take you to numerous spring training facilities. The Phoenix Zoo is less than five miles away. The living room, bedrooms and the backyard are equipped with cable television. You will find a walk-in shower with a seat and two shower heads in the main bathroom. The second bathroom has a modern shower stall. The interior of the house is fully tiled and newly furnished with contemporary furniture. A swimming pool -- heated during the cooler months -- accentuates the covered patio and gas grill in the backyard. When heated, the pool heater is set at 88 degrees but, if the outside temperature gets too cool, the pool temp may not reach 88. That doesn't happen often but it does happen occasionally. There are wet suit tops in the laundry area for your use. Those will help. If you are bringing dogs to the property, please try to keep them out of the pool as dog hair can seriously clog the filtering system. Exercise equipment can also be found in the laundry room, which is located next to the pool. The property is also conveniently located only 4 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This property can accommodate 6 guests but, if you need to find lodging for more, we own 2 other vacation rentals on the block. You can see them at VRBO.com/933406, which has a pool, and VRBO.com/214978, which does not have a pool. You will not be charged a cleaning fee at any of our 3 properties. The property can accommodate a family gathering but cannot accommodate a large event. If you are planning to host an event of any size, please clear it with the owner at time of booking. A very nice place to stay. It was clean , well stocked, and the pool was clean and warm. Shirley was wonderful as a host . She was in close contact throughout the booking and our stay, but not over bearing. She accommodated an early check in for us, as our plane arrived 5 hours before regular check in time. All in all a great stay , no complaints at all. Thank you Shirley , hope to stay there again !

We had a wonderful stay at the Pool House! It was really hot while we were there so we spent a lot of time enjoying the pool, the pool toys and the outside TVs. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the hosts were kind and helpful. We hope to stay here again!

Shirley was great. She would check in periodically to make sure all was going good. The backyard and pool were awesome. This was the selling point of making our decision to stay here. Although the weather was on the cooler side, we still made the most of it. All in all, we had a great time and would recommend anyone to stay here

Amazing stay, the Pool House was very cozy. Very central and just blocks away from a Starbucks. The heated pool was delightful along with the patio chairs and outside, plenty of outside lounging space. Inside the house was nice, plenty of pots and pans. Amazing stay, Shirley was a fantastic host.

Wonderful stay

Nice and clean house with heated pool. I have never stayed in a VRBO that had so many towels, pool floats, bikes etc. that you could use. They have thought of everything. Owners were also so organized and easy to get a hold of. If we return to AZ we will stay here again!

We LOVE the Pool House!

The Pool House is fantastic! Excellent location, within walking distance to ASU and a ton of restaurants. The home is very clean and has all the amenities! The hosts are responsive, kind and helpful. We've stayed here at least four times and we'll be back, for sure!
